Beautiful restaurant with excellent service and great food. Big portions and good prices. Huge menu with many options. Vibe: Very cozy and clean interior, and they have fresh fish on display too but there isn't the typical fishy smell you often get in those kinds of restaurants. Lots of cool decor and plants adorn every corner, and they had nice holiday theming when we went. Food: we ordered the sweet and sour pork, black bean rice noodles, and beef & broccoli. All dishes had great flavor! Sweet and sour pork was very crunchy even though it was covered in sauce. Rice noodles had a nice texture too, and the broccoli was perfectly cooked - firm but tender enough to pierce easily with a fork. The texture of the sauces here are a lot gloopier than we have typically had when we order these dishes in other places - be aware if you have picky eaters that aren't used to that kind of texture.

I went here for dinner on Christmas day and it was absolutely delicious. The service is top notch and a very beautiful ambience. We ordered peking duck, custard buns (not shown), walnut shrimp, and stirfried flat noodles. Peking duck 5/5. This is some of the best Peking Duk I’ve had in my life very tender, flavorful, and Skin was crispy I prefer the pancakes, but they serve with buns that were very good. Stirfry noodles 3.5/5 these were pretty good I’ve definitely had better but the flavor was good just that wish there was a little bit more sauce. I may have ranked higher if I didn’t just try the Peking duck. Walnut shrimp. 5/5. This was so good, I would come back just for the shrimp. Perfectly fried, great sauce, and the Frosted Flakes on top were a fun touch that added extra sweetness Custard buns 5/5 these were so good, could be a perfect dessert or appetizer

Called to ask if they have MSG free options and was told right away that they do, well I'm always skeptical, but decided to try it out. Got there and the waitress was very knowledgeable, showing me exactly what to try and telling me about different options for the kids. When we weren't ready right away to order a different waitress came to actually take the order so we ordered, but the first waitress came back and said she looked over the order and there was a mistake, the thing that I thought was a vegetarian option was stuffed with crab. Well she brought the menu back and helped me choose something to suit my diet and was very patient. The whole place is beautifully decorated and we really enjoyed our time. If the parking lot was easier to park in it would really be that much better, but I did go to China Town on Chinese New year's, so minus no stars.

Someone recommended East Wall Restaurant to me. So, we decided to give it a try. First, the place was empty, and the order was prepared in a decent amount of time (about 20 minutes). So, the service was prompt. Since we were trying it out for the first time, we ordered staples because if the staple dishes aren't good, then I don't expect much from the specialty dishes. We ordered the house fried rice, orange chicken, pepper steak, eggplant with garlic sauce w/beef, and vegetable and regular egg rolls. The rice had a good flavor, but the rice was very mushy like it was over boiled with too much water. The orange chicken wasn't bad, but didn't wow us. It was just OK. Also, watch out for bones in the meat. I understand that things happen, but there was a very sharp bone in one of the chicken chunks. If I had bitten down at a different angle, it would have punctured underneath my tongue. The pepper steak was bland and had NO FLAVOR, and the meat was slightly chewy. The eggplant dish had a few scraps of beef and was just OK. The vegetable egg roll was very greasy and had an old grease taste. The regular egg roll was just OK and kind of bland. After tip, the total bill was $80. For what we received (the orange chicken was skimpy for the cost and based on flavor, none of the dishes were worth the prices charged), there are much better Chinese restaurants for the money. Two stars because it was $80 for mediocre food. I will pass...

I was ready to order with a few minutes of getting seated, and at least 5-8 mins passed, when another table was seated. More time passed and I saw our waitress took their order. So I let another waitress take ours. I ordered 2 orders of the pork dumplings, to make sure she understood I asked her to point which ones are they in the picture and sure enough they were the ones I picked out, and the repeated not the shrimp ones. They bring the dumplings out and say shrimp dumplings and I told them no these aren't what I ordered. They take them back and this male staff member comes out yelling "so you didn't order shrimp, what did you order?" I'm so embarrassed which maybe he thought he could intimidate me, and answered "Not shrimp, the pork ones." The waitress comes back and brings the menu n I point to the picture and the name where you can see them on the appetizer part, and she goes oh no shrimp. The original waitress brings out the plates of food and legit keeps passing the food real close to my face to who was sitting next to me. The other food I observe to see if she was going to do the same thing, handles it next to them and places it in front. When she brings another item I had to put my hand in front of my face to block her rude a$$ and she goes over it to keep doing it. F all of them, n this place, the experience was horrible. The food was good but not worth having to...

East China Wall was a great dinner out! Service was prompt and attentive, drinks never ran empty. Yet at the same time we weren't bothered by a continual check in. The food didn't come out super fast which gives me the impression that its actually being prepared for us. (some Chinese food places the food comes out before you order it making you wonder?)

The atmosphere was just right. Nicely decorated. And the area was bustling on a Thursday at 8pm. If you can't find parking, there is a garage in the back (Southwest) corner. Lots of people young and old visiting lots of great looking restaurants.

The only negatives would be their menu and web presence. Still a 5 star experience, but I like to go in a bit more prepared than I did. What information they have online seems outdated and extremely minimal. In 2019 its not that hard to have something up. The menu can be a tad hard to navigate for a newbie/non-Chinese reading person. There are randomly placed smallish photos of food, but the photos aren't labeled and I had no clue what dishes they were. I would say 20% of the menu is purely in Chinese, guess those dishes aren't for me? And there are menu items with names that do not help! What is Princess Chicken or Beef with Thousand Cook? A short description goes a long way!

Never the less, we had a great dinner out at East Wall. I highly...
