7 Day Spa — Local services in Houston

I’m trying to call the spa but the call cannot go through. This is the WORST MASSAGE I’ve ever received, woke up today with my whole back extremely sore and it’s just so painful to the point that turned all my positive experience around.

I came yesterday at 6pm with my husband, and the spa itself is very nice, clean and spacious. The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite. Everything is great and I told my husband we can come here every few weeks to get the massage together because I love the environment. But the massage therapist I got was ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMARE, we got 70min body massage and every minute is a torture because it was so painful, I told the therapist to be very very gentle and only use light pressure but she seems to be very hard and the movements are very quick. It was not a relaxing experience and I just want the session to be over. This morning I woke up with my entire back extremely sore, with bruises on my back and thigh. Even though i love the customer service, the environment, but i wont be back. I tried to contact the owner directly because I don't like to give bad review for small business, but I cannot get a hold of anyone. I came in hoping for some relief from back tension, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling worse than when I arrived. The massage was far too rough, despite my repeated requests for lighter pressure. What should have been a relaxing and therapeutic session turned into something uncomfortable and even painful. By the end of the massage, my back felt more sore and tense than before. I understand that some people prefer deep pressure, but I don’t feel like my preferences were taken seriously. Communication was lacking, and I didn’t feel like the therapist adjusted their approach based on my feedback.To make things worse, at the end of the session, the staff practically begged me for a tip. It was extremely awkward and made me feel very uncomfortable especially considering how unsatisfied I was with the service. A tip should be earned, not demanded. I live in Dallas but was in Houston for the new year holiday weekend. I came in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon since woke up today with a muscle in the side of my neck hurting. They were able to accommodate me so I didn’t have to wait. I got a combo 30-minute body massage and 30-minute facial, it was perfect and so relaxing! Lili took care of me and gave a remarkable massage with good pressure much better than the place where I usually go in Dallas. She was very professional and also gave me advice on a pressure point I could rub next time my neck muscle might get cramped up, and made some helpful general observations about my back.
