The food was great, but I didn't like the service. Because I wasn't very happy with the service I left a tip of around 10% (around $3 on a $30 bill). The waitress, who had previously been ignoring us, had time to come over and look at the bill after I'd filled it out. I consider it to be very rude to look at the size of the tip while the customer is still at the table, but I assumed she didn't understand the culture and tried to pretend not to notice. However, she then had the nerve to complain that the tip was too small and demand at least 15%. She was pointing at the suggested amounts that were printed on the receipt. I have never encountered something like this and was asking for clarification, partly out of surprise and partly because her broken English was difficult to understand. My date, probably feeling embarrassed by the situation, took out a $5 bill and laid it on the table, to the woman's satisfaction. It really angered me to give her what she wanted. I really enjoyed the food at that restaurant, but I don't think that I'll...

Today I ordered over the phone for two dishes. I asked for no meat for both. They served one without meat, and she came out and told me the chef made the other one with meat because I asked for meat. She tried to blame me for her mistake.

My friend is an American. He didn't understand so he nodded. She quickly pocketed the money. We had to leave in a hurry so no time to argue about it. It leaves a bitter taste in the...
Read moreIt slowly became one of my favorite place to eat spicy Sichuan food. I usually go across the plaza to eat but most of my Chinese friend likes this place better because they can't handle the spicy from the other place.
One of the dish I always order was chicken gizzard with sour veggie, it might sound weird but the gizzard is crispy and chewy the same time. Mix it with your rice eat like a don, super delish.
All of their appetizer soup are great. The broth is light but brewed for a long time. My favorite is pork with corn since the corn makes the soup little bit sweet.
I tried several of their intestine dish before, I like all of them, simply because the intestine need to be cleaned deeply and you can't cook it too long in order for it not to become too chewy.
If it's your first time to go I would say order something regular and order some less spicy just to test it out.
Overall it's a great...
