I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Firehouse Subs located at 7505 Southwest Freeway, Ste 300, Houston, TX 77074. I visited the establishment to redeem my hard-earned reward points for a free sub, only to be informed by an employee that I had to make a purchase in order to use my rewards. Nowhere on the app did it mention this requirement, and when I asked the employee to provide the policy in black and white, they failed to do so. This kind of misleading behavior is unacceptable, especially considering the substantial amount of money I have spent to accumulate these reward points. It is both frustrating and unfair to force customers into making additional purchases just to use their earned rewards. To make matters worse, the quality of the sub I received was abysmal. It contained only a few pieces of chicken drowned in a sea of vegetables, lacking the appropriate amount of meat. This negligence in food preparation is simply ridiculous. It seems that because I was using points instead of money, the staff deemed it acceptable to skimp on the essential ingredients. I am deeply dissatisfied with the customer service and the quality of the food I received at Firehouse Subs. As such, I am compelled to leave this one-star review to warn others of the disappointing experience I encountered.

I get it that we have Inflation, but the attached image of the small Turkey Bacon Ranch from Firehouse Subs was Absolutely Ridiculous!! The picture Does Not provide the true scale and small size of this sandwich! It's literally no longer than my middle finger @ 4 inches long. I had no idea that a small sandwich was literally that small! It should be titled, 'Our Mini Bite' or 'Slider.' And to slap you in the face, it was $7.25! I can't imagine how much the combo would have cost. To make matters worse, the lady forgot to add the bacon! As stated, I understand inflation, but Firehouse Subs is Fleecing America with that sandwich option. It's totally unjustified and obnoxious, šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾

While being at the drive through at the location on 59 near HBU, I requested a refund after my food was made incorrectly. The Manager Cathy, snatch an opened, bottled beverage from my hand and proceeded to pour it out in front of me with the beverage splashing from the concrete on to my car (pictures below). The top was missing because I was about to begin drinking it when I noticed the sandwich wasn’t what I ordered. Again, this was a manager who definitely DOES NOT deserve the position or employment for that matter. Cathy was blessed today because another customer could have handled this situation totally different.

The firehouse in Meyerland is better. Having frequented that one for 4 years and this one for 2 months I think it is a fair average comparison.

This location is just too crowded to move around in. Like someone ordered too many tables/ chairs.

I typically visit this location once a week. Today though had time to observe and figure out why it seems sub-par. Having 25 minutes to wait on my standard menu order without any modifications I could observe. I witnessed one patron have to ask for his money back because he also was past the 25 minute time. Even full service steakhouses don't take this long.

Staff was busy moving and I did not see anyone slacking. However there seemed to be greater attention to the drive thru line which I counted at 6+ the entire time I was there. Nearly every table was full and a good number were commenting on the slow service.

The online order rack while keeping up with modern desires has a serious flaw: no checking to see that the right person picked up the order. It also appears to be a potential legal liability for food tampering as it isn't watched other than by a camera which may or may not be reviewed. I would suspect they will have to either address the flaws or get rid of it and pay more attention to in-house, drive-thru and traditional carry out.

Only one walk up register in operation the entire time I was there.

The manager needs to work on getting staffing up for peak lunch rush. Near to college campus so short shift workers should be plentiful.

Once more restaurants open nearby I'm sure the large crowd will go elsewhere and the establishment will settle in to a faster service paradigm. For now though expect long waits...

Awww man I really hate to write this review, debating back and forth with myself for the past two days on staying quiet. Only, because I really like this location and never ran into a problem with service or food. ButšŸ˜ž this time didn’t go so well, well… Me and my partner came in two days ago and ordered two sandwich meals..customer service was good no problem there… Thank you!!!… Get our food and decided to dine in the car and we are eating, I look over to my partner sandwich I noticed a small curly hair. We said ā€œ awwww manā€ brushed it off and continued to eat… I mean what’s a small hair compared to someone in the world having to eat a lot worse!.. So as my partner is eating he noticed another hair at the bottom of the sandwich…. Yeah, at this point there is a problem with the staff not being properly dressed or covered which is a huge issue and should be a main concern when working with food at any establishment. Now my partner not being a person who likes bringing their food back, we threw the rest to the birds, they definitely enjoyed it…. Hopefully this post/review brings awareness to the staff and management, to take extra steps to ensure proper hygiene food protocols for the best customer experience at...
