If you've been to Mod Pizza then you'd be familiar with the concept. The best thing I like about this place - apart from the quality of food, which is great - is their simplified pricing system. It's one price for an 11" pizza, no matter what type or how many toppings you put on it. You're saved from the headache of balancing what you want and how much money you've got to spend! You choose the size and walk along the toppings bar, pointing at things you want on your pizza. I chose a half pizza and a salad for the same price, no drinks (which, if you've been following me, is my usual - I eschew carbonated drinks as much as I can. If I wanted to ingest a cupful of sugar... well, I don't.) Wait time till the name was called was about 10ish minutes and I enjoyed my salad in the meanwhile. Place was very neat and there were guests sitting in about 6 booths and on a few tables, a couple of them outside - or coming in to pick up their to-go orders. My half-pizza had pesto on the border, spicy red sauce in the middle, a few meats, roasted red peppers and red onions, all spread on a bed of mozzarella and ricotta. It came out very tasty. Total with taxes and tips was around $15 for a filling meal. A definite thumbs-up recommendation. (Edits: minor spelling errors.)

So it was a little awkward at first. You just tell the first person how many toppings you want and if it for here or to go. The next person needs to know what kind of sauce... traditional, white something or spicy (spicy is excellent) then what kind of cheese, then the toppings. You pay and they throw it in some kind of super fire oven for a few minutes and they call your name. Its about $10 for a 2 topping and a drink. They have some fruity flavored drinks that are better than the ones at starbucks and there are free refills. The decor looks like a Chipotle. 5 star visit and awesome pizza.

This was my first time at Blaze Pizza. I really enjoyed it. The employees greeted me right away, the restaurant was very clean and has a very cool vibe inside. The pizza was so delicious - I recommend the pesto sauce. Everything was super fresh. The pizza comes out perfect. It was crispy enough to pick up a piece and it held its shape, but not too crispy that it's hard to eat. The drink selection was really nice - I recommend the blood orange lemonade. Blaze Pizza offers: Simple (aka Cheese) Pizza, 1 to 2-toppings pizza, 8 kinds of Signature Pizza which can be modified to your liking, Salad Pizza, and BYO (Build Your Own) pizza. The Signature Pizzas and the Build Your Own Pizza have the same price, they cost $7.95 plus 8.25% tax = $8.61.

They also offer 4 kinds of salads. Three kinds of desserts—s’mores pie, brownie, and cookie—costing $2 each plus tax, and can be warmed up.

They offer three dough options on their pizza: original dough has no charge, high-rise dough is additional $2, and gluten free dough is additional $3.

If you do the BYO (Build Your Own) Pizza then they'll ask you what sauce base do you want on your pizza. You have four options: classic red, spicy red, white cream, & garlic pesto. If you choose the garlic pesto, they'll ask you if you want it all over your pizza (crust included), in the midde part only, or just in the crust. Some people put it only on the crust and asks the classic red sauce or spicy red sauce on the middle. As for the cheese, you got 8 choices and you can put them all, if you want!

After the cheeses, the meats selection are next, and lastly are the veggies. You can pile up as many toppings as you want. Don't be shy to ask for what you want or as many toppings as you want because it's your pizza, after all! But, if you put a lot of toppings then expect your pizza to be soggy and not crispy. Note: -To the vegans, they’ve got a good vegan cheese here and loads of veggies to choose for your pizza! Ask the staff to change their gloves before handling your pizza, in that way, you will not think of all the different meats that their previous gloves touched.

-They do deliver using DoorDash! How convenient, right? Not really.

The Doordash concept is that supposedly once you order your food on the Doordash app/site, the store will receive your order, and prepare your food, so that by the time the Doordash person came in to the store, your food is ready to be picked up and be delivered to you.

Here’s the problem: their store system is not integrated with the Doordash. I don’t know why they’re not updating their system in regards to this. If you order your food on the Doordash app/site be prepared to wait for some time especially during busy lunch hours since the store does not get your order, the staff here actually have no idea that you ordered or what you ordered at all! They will only know that you order if a Doordash person came in to their store to pick-up your food. That’s the only time that the staff will ask that Doordash delivery person what you ordered & start making your food!

-Also, ALL prices of their food on the Doordash are MORE EXPENSIVE!! You can see the price difference on their Doordash page & Blaze Pizza Online Order site. Their Signature Pizzas & BYO (Build Your Own) Pizza on Doordash cost $10.59 plus tax!! On their site or at the store, their BYO & Signature Pizza cost $7.95 plus 8.25% tax is $8.61!

Not to mention you need to pay delivery fee when you use Doordash & the cost of that will be “distance” based. Plus, you should also tip your Doordash delivery guy because that’s the polite way.

If you used Doordash then be prepared to pay a lot more. My suggestion is just do a pick-up order on the Blaze Pizza site, so that by the time you get there, your order is ready for you on their Pick-Up station.

-Their Doordash app/site only allows you to pick “one” cheese from their cheese option. If you want more or to try other cheeses, then just write it on the Note part of your order. Remember BYO is as many toppings, etc. with no extra charge!

-Don’t forget their different “finishes” or sauces that can be drizzled on your pizza at the end! They got 8 different kinds of drizzles that you can choose for your pizza: ranch, buffalo sauce, pesto, etc. —-

Overall, I love Blaze Pizza! They offer delicious food! Plus their service to their customers are always great and very professional! I love the food, prices, and the...

Good pizza but terrible service. Been here numerous times because it is close to work. Pizza is good for the price and selection of toppings but the service is terrible. When we walked in no other customers were in line. We walked right up and ordered our pizza and knots. But we had to wait a few minutes for an employee to come out of the back and he was on his cell phone. Ok fine, blew this off as a lazy employee how doesnt care. Got to the end, paid and waited for our order. Received our pizza but not our knots. Let the guy cutting pizzas know and he said he would get them out to us. 20 minutes later after we finished our pizza, still no garlic knots. We waited that long because by this time there were customers coming in and so it was a little busier. Went to the counter a second time and guy cutting pizzas said "oh ok hold on" He proceeds to cut 3-4 more pizzas and hand them out. All the while there is an order of knots right in from of him. He finally boxes them up and gives them to me. I get back to the table and open the box, they are burnt on the bottom, BAD! I take them back of the registered and ask for a refund because by this time we are finished with our pizza and don't want to wait for another order to be cooked. The guy at the cash register (same guy that came out of the kitchen on his cell phone) Opens the box and proceeds to check to see if they are really burnt! Then takes $2 out of the register and hands it to me. HE NEVER SAID A WORD TO ME! No apology, nothing! TERRIBLE...

I recently visited Blaze Pizza located at 7459 Southwest Fwy Suite 400, Houston, TX 77074, and overall, my experience was quite delightful. The pizza was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.

The quality of the pizza truly impressed me. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the flavors of the sauce and toppings complemented each other well. The options for building your own pizza are abundant, allowing for a personalized and satisfying dining experience.

However, there is one aspect that needs improvement: the topping ordering process. While I understand the concept of building a custom pizza with unlimited toppings, it was frustrating to repeatedly ask the staff to add each topping. For every individual topping I wanted, I found myself having to remind the staff about it, which disrupted the flow of the ordering process. It would be better if the staff were more attentive to customers' requests, ensuring that all desired toppings are added promptly without the need for multiple reminders.

Despite this minor inconvenience, I still highly recommend Blaze Pizza for its delectable pizzas and enjoyable atmosphere. The tantalizing taste and inviting ambiance make it a go-to spot for pizza lovers. I hope the management addresses the topping ordering process to enhance the overall customer experience.

Blaze Pizza remains a solid choice for pizza enthusiasts seeking delicious flavors and a pleasant...
