We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the HOB Houston along with dinner and drinks in the Foundation. The staff, managers, chefs and kitchen staff always know how to make you feel special. The small details like Champaign and dessert to making wine recommendations will keep us coming back! Of course the live music takes center stage, but dinner in the foundation room is the opener to your evening! Thank you making our anniversary so special, we highly recommend dinner and drinks in the Foundation room for your special occasion, just ask the staff your preference or ideas for your visit to the HOB and they’ll tailor your evening around you! Was visiting from Philly and went on a Thursday to see the band The Righteous Vibe play on the Lounge side. (They play there every other Thursday, and one of the band members told us to come through.) The ambience/decor is elegant with detailed masonry and design. The staff is very friendly - one of the bartenders went to find coffee for me even though they didn't actually offer it. The food was really good, and it should've been, for the price. There were 2 of us and our entrees were over $30 each. The drinks were around $15 each, and all of the Lounge menu items were around $15. Point is, be prepared to spend mucho dinero. Went for the 1st Friday Caribbean Night and really enjoyed ourselves. Go earlier in the evening for a lounge-type experience. The later it gets, the wilder it gets, not dangerous wild, just young wild and more crowded. Crowd was very diverse, as reggae lovers span a spectrum of people. Foundation Room staff is very attentive, still touches of the private club it was before COVID. 360° photos set up in one of the rooms was a nice touch and fun way to remember the evening. What a great space -- spacious, versatile, and intimate, all at the same time. It was our first time there, but we will certainly be going back and possibly hosting some event...
