My new Food find was awesome and so delightful not to mention SO DELICIOUS ! I was visiting the Katy Area for a Dr.Appt. at M.D.Andersen the next morning. I have been in the vicinity of Hwy 6 and I-10 several times to dine. But decided to adventure down 1-10 and see what was up ahead! I was so excited to see more Resturants but I had not taste for my usual Tex-Mex,Popeyes,Taco Bell etc.BUT, looked to the left was a sign that read Gyro Hut. Oh my, my eyes were like this is a hidden Gem behind those bushes 👍! I went in not knowing what to order after sneaking a peep on other customers plates.After listening quietly to others order their meal. Then,BINGO I was bold enough to ask questions and the Customers were very supportive in helping me order a meal and explained their dishes! Lastly,at the order counter I met a kind,patient ,professional and wonderful male clerk(name unknown because I forgot to ASK).He took my order and he did the same he explained the each dishe to Me that I was interested in.I chose the Combo 1 Lamb meal after he explained the lamb was TENDER and I had been cravingLanb for months! It was everything I could have asked for ,tender chucks of lamb,well flavored but not spicy added over a deliciously flavored bed of Rice.Also a colorful side salad mixture that I found delightful a salad combo with Chick Peas added was a first for me.Lastly,I told to get the sauce and I did ....surprisingly I was SOLD on the white sauce not so much the red to hot for my tastebuds. I recently visited Gyro hut, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff made us feel at home. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern and cozy, making it an ideal spot for both casual and special occasions.

The menu offered an impressive variety of dishes, catering to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. I started with their Gyro fries , which was perfectly seasoned and served fresh. For the main course, I opted for the chicken platter, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. My companion had the combo platter, which they couldn’t stop raving about.

Their dessert menu was equally impressive. We tried the Baklava, and it was the perfect ending to our meal—rich, decadent, and full of flavor.

The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

I also appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the restaurant, including the restrooms. Parking was convenient, and the overall experience was well worth the price.

Here for business and went for a walk outside of my hotel to look around and see what was in walking distance to grab something to eat. Well I saw a little Gyro shop across the street from my hotel and very glad that I did! The food is very fresh and the flavor combos are off the chain. I tried the Combo platter with lamb and chicken over Jasmine Rice and a medley of fresh vegetables it comes with to balance out the texture and give it a fresh taste and the sauce they drizzle all over the dish is on point not over powering, just the right balance for that wow moment that happens on the first bite and continues on with each bite there after. I noticed while waiting they also make fresh squeezed juice healthy cocktails and I decided to try one. They got their chemistry right with the one I tried. The gentleman that helped me at the front that greeted me was very polite and patient with my hillbilly butt and helped me with my order. The place was clean inside and looked to be new but even it is a new place the folk inside took pride in the cleanliness of their store. Very well trained and coached staff. If I could give any advice to them it would be Smile more and bigger beautiful you guys are doing a great job and the owner is blessed to find a crew like that!! Well Done!! I took mine to go.
