Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Houston

I read the reviews and really didn't want to take my chances with this place, but unfortunately after a long day at the office I didn't have a choice near my hotel that was still open past 10pm. The service to order in the drive thru was slow, but that wasn't a big deal. When it was my turn and she finally allowed me to order, she kept cutting me off while I was ordering to ask me things I was in the middle of telling her!! I order the tenders combo (comes with a drink) and as I'm ordering cole slaw for my side she interrupts by asking what side. I was in the middle of adding an additional side of mashed potatoes and she asks if I wanted a drink. I already stated I wanted a combo, which comes with a drink and I was going to tell her my drink order AFTER I finished my food order, but okay I give her my drink order and then she asks anything else. So I have to repeat that I want mashed potatoes. When I pulled up, she said she was waiting on the biscuit, which took about 10 minutes. When I finally get my food i find it odd that I only have one box because I'm not sure if two of the side containers can fit in there, so I asked if all my sides were in there, and she says yes mashed potatoes and FRIES!! I said oh no, I asked for cole slaw. She said no you told me fries!! I immediately corrected her that I DON'T EAT FRIES so I did not order that. She goes and gets a cole slaw container. I'm so perterbed as I drive off that I forget to check for plasticware. Sure enough, when I finally settle in my hotel room to eat a late dinner, there is no plasticware. How do you eat mashed potatoes and cole slaw without plasticware?! I am beyond irritated with the service from here. I understand she was probably young, although I don't believe she was in high school, but come on....you can find better workers than...

I went through the drive-through this afternoon and was picking up a meal for a friend. I had the most pleasant encounter with the employee working the drive-through. I didn’t catch her name however I could hear her smile through the speaker. She was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Above and beyond. When we got to the window, she was even more Cheerful and authentic. We came to Popeyes to get some lunch for a friend and we left with happiness in our hearts and Positive energy and vibes because of this young lady. I do not know her name, but I do hope that she gets the recognition that she deserves. You have a wonderful employee in this young lady And I tried to call several times but no one answered at the phone at the location. She left us with “have a blessed day.” And we sent her the same message back. And we all left smiling and with hearts full of happiness. I write this because in today’s world people like this young lady Are a few and far between. I want to recognize her for her all around goodness and kindness So thank you, Popeyes for employing such a bright, special young lady. And we will definitely be back to support this location Just because of this young ladies, kindness and compassion. I’ll end this saying that because of her good attitude and positive vibes, we ended up having positive vibes and a great day that are still flowing right...

I went here and sat in the drive thru at the speaker because the kid told me to hold on a second. I was polite and said ok. He came on about 3 minutes later to take my order and I began to tell him what I wanted. He then told me mid order to hang on and disappeared for 15 minutes. When I said hello from such a long wait for him to come back here told me to hang on a minute. Then when he finally came back he asked how can I help you and I said you were in the middle of helping and you disappeared.... Do you have my order do far? Cause I'm not done. I was told to pull around to the window and again proceeded to give him my order all over again. Waiting at the window it seemed he was having a lot of trouble even entering the order. I waited another 5 minutes at the window for my food and he only have me half my order. I had to ask if he was sure it was all there and then he said oh yeah it's only half. Took it back and got the rest and have it to me and then I asked what about my drink and he looked severely confused like he didn't even remember my order. He finally have me my drink after I had to tell him I ordered a dr pepper. This was the absolute worst drive thru experience ever. You need to get a staff that understands how to handle a dinner rush, not get flustered...
