I ordered 2 separate meals. When I started to pay, I told the man that I wanted the meal, but instead of chips I wanted 2 cookies each. I also asked if he had bottled drinks instead of fountain drinks. He ended up telling me to look at the bottle drinks, because they didn't have certain brands. After I came back, the man was gone helping someone else and another person asked for my credit card. After I paid, I told her that they didn't have Dr. Pepper or Coke bottles so can I get fountain drinks. The man came over and said he only charged me for the sandwiches and drinks. I'm upset, because when you purchase a combo meal, you get the chips or cookies for free. Today, I had to pay for 4 cookies that should have been free. The manager, Alex Cancino or the employees need to put up a sign that indicates which drinks are not available via bottle or ensure that their employees wait at least 1 minute after instructing a customer to look at the available bottles before going elsewhere. Maybe this is just a scam to help them charge for things that they are not...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service from the Spanish-speaking lady at the register! I had a coupon for a foot long meal and she rudely and loudly told me the coupon was not good for "garlic roast beef". I did not order garlic roast beef, I ordered REGULAR roast beef and she still refused to take it. I tried to explain this to her but she wouldn't listen to me. She immediately started running her mouth in Spanish and I asked her to speak English, which she did for a moment and then started rudely yammering in Spanish again trying to explain why she wouldn't take the coupon. I have used that same coupon at other Subway locations without ANY trouble because I never used it to order a "garlic roast beef" sandwich like she was claiming. So I ended up paying full price for the sandwich, and due to the rude treatment I did not leave a tip during checkout. Who ever runs this Subway location, SHAME ON YOU for your rock-bottom hiring standards!! And to the employee, SHAME ON YOU for being so hideously rude!! I will be contacting corporate to...
Read moreSubway itself I give a much higher review, it's this location only that reflects the two star grade. Staff (including manager) is totally unreasonable to the point that it's detrimental to their own bottom line. On there "New Subway Roll-out Day" the chain was offering a free 6inch. I literally had to argue with the manager to please hold the tomatoes, while he insisted that it was free so I didn't have the option. In addition I was denied adding salt/pepper and at that point didn't dare ask if I could have a squirt of vinegar. I understand the sandwich was new and someone in corporate decided how he or she thought it presented best. I understand not being able to substitute meats and will even go so far to accept the only bread option provided. However, if a customer has a certain food allergy and asks for that item to be left off (while it is being prepared) thus saving the restaurant cost, why would the store manager not be intelligent enough to comply with...
