Houstatlantavegan (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

The only issue I had was driving around to find the food truck due to construction. From the side of the road it looks closed, however I seen a little light that let me know the truck was on. To be fair I drove here from NC and didn’t know anything about Houston, others could probably find it easier. Next, the customer service was simple and sweet and that I like. The food was INCREDIBLE! I remember being a non vegan many years ago and ordering the rodeo burger from checkers/rally’s back in IL/IN, and when I tell you this tasted better than any rodeo burger I’ve ever had it did! Everything was HOT and FRESH! The flavor was soooooo good. Now I can due without vegan bacon, but it wasn’t that bad. It all mixed up perfectly. Next time I’ll just bring me some purple onion lol to go with my onion rings on top. The fresh were so perfect even when I didn’t finish them and they weren’t crispy any more they were still delicious soft and cold lol. I didn’t get a drink because I just like regular lemonade or water and they had flavor lemonade, and soda I don’t do either. Love this place, my kids even tried some and we agreed we would be back to try so...

Houstatlantavegan is hands down the BEST vegan fast food spot in Houston… maybe anywhere. Where else can you get a Whopper-style “Wapper” vegan burger and something that tastes like Raising Cane’s—but better? I haven’t even tried the chicken sandwich yet so I can’t even imagine!

They nailed it. The oyster mushrooms are crispy perfection. The vegan burger actually satisfies your fast food cravings and might even ruin real fast food for you (in the best way). Their food is nostalgic, indulgent, and somehow still better for you.

And the fries? Next level. Super crispy, perfectly seasoned, and somehow still 🔥 even through Uber Eats delivery. The Cane’s-style sauce? Yeah,they cracked the code. It’s vegan, it’s better, and it’s addictive.

Plus, the portions are generous. You can order two things and be full for two days. They’re consistent, flavorful, and fast—everything you want from fast food, just done right.

Tried this place today for the 1st time. It DID NOT disappoint. I ordered the Rodeo Burger with Mac and cheese. The person with me ordered the Magic City with fries. And everything was delicious. The mac and cheese has a Cajun type flavor and packs a kik in my opinion. I took off 1 star because I wish they had a non spicy version and I was looking for the more traditional tasting mac and cheese that's non vegan. But all in all I'm pleased and highly recommend.

Update I tried the chicken sandwich with onion rings instead of fries. I was very disappointed my onion rings were so soggy and the batter was falling off of it. I went with someone and their fries were also soggy. I could have just left that off honestly. The onion rings had to be airfired to try to breathe life back into them. And I asked for no tomato and they gave me a tomato anyway. And it also was mushy. They also no longer have the cheese cake for those who had it...
