This is message is for the major in charge of the Washington store: You have some very rude and unprofessional people working behind that counter. I'd appreciate it if you could roll back some tapes and see how cold they are in their interaction with customers. No greetings or thank you for shopping with us suggestions. I went by the other day late in the evening to buy some clothes but I wasn't expecting to buy as I much as I entended to. So I asked the manager if she could hold the 2 jackets until the store opens at 9:00am the next day. 9:00 am sharp the next day I was at the door with my money to pay for the jackets and as soon as I walked in the manager saw me and started speaking to me in Spanish which I do not understand or speak. I immediately informed her in (English) that I was there to pay for the jackets and she started telling me that she didn't know anything about it it and walked away from me like I never existed. I kept asking questions and again kept ignoring me. I even asked if she sold them and sadly couldn't get an answer from her. WOW!!! This woman left me speechless to this day because of her attitude and bad behavior and lack of communication. I searched the entire store for the 2 jackets and they were nowhere to be found. I will never ever take my business to the Salvation Army or ever donate anything to this place for the simple fact that if your staff is representing an organization like yours they better...
Read moreScheduled a pickup for some items to donate and it was a terrible experience. First I tried to call multiple times and no one answered even though I did leave a voicemail. After about a week of waiting, I scheduled online instead and they required me to create an account for it. The form to fill out was actually pretty decent UX, but they missed some key details. Like apparently they needed to contact me before the pickup to confirm my address and ask about the size of the bed frame. But there was no mention that contact would be required before the pickup or that they would need the size of bed frame.
Please add something in the online form that asks for the size of the bed frame and include info about how contact will be required or the pickup will be cancelled. I didn't leave a phone number or email because I didn't want to be contacted and figured they would handle it all for me and make it easy. But when I called the morning of to confirm that the pickup was still happening I was told it was cancelled?? I had just left all the stuff outside my apartment because I trusted them to handle this and make it easy. So please, fix these issues! I'm giving you free stuff (that's in great condition) that you're going to sell and so many people would have bent over backwards to get this stuff, but instead you made it...

Shortly after 8am I called on 3/12 for a timeframe for the pickup, the system was down so he said the driver will call when they arrive and I can use the link in the email to track the truck. It said “establishing route”. There was an option to sign up for text updates so I opted in. Around 1pm I called again, still down. Asked if they can call the driver, they said no. Track the truck never updated. Around 4pm, I called, they said the donation center is closed, the system is still down and that I can just reschedule. I made him aware that I’m moving out of state hence me scheduling this days in advance, prior to my departure. Checked track the truck and still hasn’t updated. Logged into my profile and my pick up was supposed to be done between 1-4pm. At 5pm still no pick up. All day not one word from the driver. They finally called at 557pm and he said well your right by us you can come another day out we can pick up another day. My intrusive thoughts kicked in and I hung up because I was over it. I made alternate arrangements because Salvation Army’s pick up service at this location...
