Java Pura Coffee Roasters and Specialty Coffee Catering — Restaurant in Houston

I searched best coffee on Google, and I went to nearly every link that appeared in the top results. Java Pura was one of the names that came up and I decided to give it a try. What attracted me initially was their barrel aged coffee. After trying that, which was amazing, I decided to give their other coffees a try. After trying several others on the top recommended list, I found Java Pura to be the best. They have a ton of options, and unlike a lot of other roasters... Each of their coffees actually taste different to a high degree. Unfortunately, I have never been to their location as I am several states away, however, my coffee and tea pantry is never without a bag of Java Pura. So from a coffee connoisseur, that has only done business with them virtually, I am thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of doing business with Java Pura. If you aren't giving them a try, you are really missing out. Hopefully one day I will get to visit. FYI - at the time of this review... Absolutely amazing first experience here! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I pulled up to the back door in a business park, but what I found inside did not disappoint. Their operation inside is impressive, with all of their roasting equipment and beans on full display. They had a wonderful selection of coffee, including a Swiss water decaf, which I’ve had trouble finding. When I purchased, I watched her package the beans, roasted earlier that day, in front of my eyes and add the appropriate stamps/labels to each bag. As far as the beans themselves, they are quite literally the best smelling beans I’ve ever encountered. Opening the bag at home gave the entire room the wonderful aroma of fresh coffee - heavenly! Plus, the beans are incredibly uniform with no over or under roasted beans included (a problem I’ve had with other local roasters). As you can see in the video, the beans made for a great espresso shot pull with an impressive crema and delicious, almost sweet and chocolatey flavor. Java Pura is easily one of the best roasters in Houston!! Their coffee is DELICIOUS and they truly care about the quality of their beans. We went to this location (they cannot sell coffee drinks to the public) and Billy, the head roaster gave us a mini tour and mini masterclass on coffee and roasting. We got to do a little tasting of roasts and picked one out to take home. As we are visiting Houston, Billy was kind enough to even tell us some of his other favorite roasters in the local area. I’ve gone to many roasters in all different cities to try new beans and this was by far THE BEST experience visiting any roaster.
