On a recent Saturday evening, I visited Hunan King and ordered three entrees: the hunan shrimp, general tso's chicken, and the house fried rice. I was impressed with the short wait time and blown away by the amazing food! The hunan shrimp was particularly noteworthy, bursting with flavor and served in huge portions that were piping hot. Despite not typically ordering shrimp from a Chinese restaurant, I would highly recommend this dish - it's a must-try! I would give it a 10/10. The general tso's chicken was also delicious, with a crispy texture that sets it apart from similar dishes at other restaurants. While it tasted similar to Panda Express's version, it was less oily and more satisfying. I would give it a 9/10. The house fried rice was good, with a distinct sesame flavor that's hard to replicate at home. While it's something I could make myself, it was still quite enjoyable, and I would give it an 9.5/10.

Read moreI used to get food all the time on the way home from work, since it's by my house and the food is ok (like a C+) but I never will again since they committed credit card fraud. We had food delivered one day, it was $46, plus an $8 tip, total $54. Well when I checked the CC statement they charged us $101! What happened was the manager put through the total as the tip (a $54 tip!!!) and pocketed the difference. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they gave us the run around for 2 weeks. Some excuses we got -- the manager will call you (was told it was a man), the manager is running late today (was told it was a woman), it's impossible because the drawer wasn't over (tips don't count toward the drawer, nice try though), the manager is on vacation, we don't know for how long, etc, etc. So finally just disputed it with the CC company. Low and behold, the transaction mysteriously disappeared on their end, they couldn't prove the order ever occurred, so it was all refunded. Obviously the manager made that little dip into the till go away... Too bad they got greedy and lost a 3...

My order has been messed up several times. Like missing items or giving me a completely different order altogether. Then I have to go back up to the restaurant when I’m already home to get the correct food. I tried to let that go because the sesame chicken is worth it.
The man I talked to an hour ago wouldn’t let me swap out an item on an order. Something I’ve done every single time I order!! His tone was very rude and he made it seem like they’ve never swapped out items before. I literally only get the sesame chicken!
I suspect the same man works on Sundays. Apparently they don’t serve anything on Sundays except some main entrees and white rice??? That’s what the man seemed to say when I called 2 weeks ago. And if that’s incorrect, his tone and communication when talking to a Customer should’ve been better!
