Me and my kids decided to go to taqueria arandas on a Sunday night. It’s been a while since I ate there and I always remembered the food being so delicious. We were greeted and given a choice where to sit. She took our drinks and left. Another lady brought out drinks and took our order. Never saw the lady that took our drinks in the beginning again. Our food came out and it was not good, also she forgot to bring us some items. Never saw anyone again after that. No one asked for refills, no one asked if we were doing ok, no one asked if we needed our ticket, no one asked us anything the whole time we were there after our food was brought out. We didn’t even worry about what was missing we just knew to check the receipt to make sure they didn’t charge us for these items. Meanwhile every table around us was being helped consistently. So I got up and asked front receptionist for to go boxes and place and order to go for my husband (To go food was also disappointing). On the final receipt they had items on there I didn’t even order, they fixed that. Food was not authentic at all like it use to be. I speak Spanish and my kids don’t and originally when we were ordering our drinks my kids starting ordering in English and I told them let me just order for them and I feel like this is why that original lady that took our order for the drinks never came back and we were never helped during our time we were there. Very...
Read moreI'm still inside this place. I had to come back my order was wrong and all food was place so bad my food got wasted in the bag. This places literally is going out of business and I see why there is not one soul in this restaurant but me. My kid is hungry too bad, closes places I could find. Next time I will rather drive and find somewhere else. Also I ordered a $3.99 chicken soup and they changed me almost $12 for a $3.50 horchata and $3.99 comes out to $8.10 with local tax included, I agree with the lady with the review 5 months ago. Once I complained and asked for my money back they said, we didn't give you what you order we gave you something better so that's why we charged you more. Wth? Bad bad manager, when a restaurant messes up an order like this they reimburse the money they over chrged for THEIR mistake. The chicken soup was all water one chicken drum stick, twos very small slices of patatoe, about 3 pieces of a single baby carrot, and all water! I literally devided the soup, that's how much water it had and that how little anything it had! First time here, there is not going to be a second, bad restaurants period, I can keep going on my first time there. Good luck with your restaurant, it was a ghost town for a reason, should of though about that...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would! There are multiple things to complain about 😊. Let's start with the fact that for the Fajita Marinadas the cost is $8.49 on the menu but when my co worker came back from the one I was charged $10 something with the final being $11.36. 😊😊😊 robbery at its finest. I had less than half a cup of rice, a small handful of shredded lettuce, 2 very small and very thin slices of avocado, a small thin slice of tomato, beans that I couldn't eat because it has pork in it but the menu doesn't state that & drum roll overlooked skirt steak that was so rubbery that I could barely chew through it. Not only was this the saddest plate of Tex-Mex food I've ever seen it was not worth a single dollar that I paid. I'm really confused how this has a rating of 3.6 on Google... It only further convinces me that people's taste buds are off down here. Don't bother wasting your time here I'm sure you'll find 200 other more tolerable Tex mex restaurants on the same...
