Read moreThis was my first time visiting Jenni's ice cream, but I had always heard good things. I have to say, I was very impressed by the overall experience.
The shop is literally a quaint little house just off Westheimer. There's a fun and inviting storefront sign and swings on the front porch.
When you walk in you enter a trendy and deceptively spacious ice cream parlor with plenty of seating. The store was immaculate, chic, and comfortable. I could easily have lounged there for hours eating ice cream and avoiding the brutal Texas summer heat.
The staff was incredible friendly, and the service was impeccable. I asked which flavors they recommended, and I was told Gooey Butter Cake, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, and Brambleberry Crisp were their best sellers, so, I went with those. These three flavors were delightful and actually worked well together.
I had a lovely experience and I will definitely be back to try their extensive variety of flavors.

And maybe buy a pint of two of their famously delicious ice cream to take home with you. Parking is limited, but you can find street parking all along Westheimer. And if you're getting those late night cravings, no worries, Jeni's is open until...
Read moreThe ice cream varieties and tastes are indeed splendid! The scoop shop has cool interior and inviting colors. It also has nice outdoor and patio seatings. It is really nice to just sit down, relax, and enjoy a bowl of delicious ice cream.
I had these flavors: salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, brambleberry crisp, and salted licorice, on top of a waffle bowl. The waffle bowl was slightly salted probably to counter the sweetness of the ice cream. I’m loving it. A bite of salty waffle bowl, and a spoonful of sweet ice cream. Scrumptious! All the flavors I had were real awesome! The salted peanut butter had a good balance of saltiness and sweetness. The brambleberry crisp flavor had good amount of oat streusel which gave a nice crunch to the smooth ice cream. The salted licorice was super yummy too!
