Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Houston

I gave one star because I can't give negative stars. I placed an order a few months ago, for the party box. It took over 2 hours to be delivered, along with 4 phone calls. Our office is less than 5 minutes driving distance from them. I was told it was out for delivery, then 20 min later it wasn't there. I called again, and they assured me it was almost to me. Called again and they said they would contact the delivery driver. Still nothing. So I called again, they said they would remake the order and throw in some freebies, the freebie was old tea that tasted like rotten watermelon. Fast forward to today, I placed an order 50 minutes ago, and I still have nothing to eat. I just paid $17 for nothing. I call and no one picks up.

UPDATE: It's now been 1 hour and 20 minutes since I ordered my sandwich, someone named Tim finally answered the phone, and asked how he could help me...I said "I'm just calling to see if I am ever going to get the sandwich I ordered and hour and eleven minutes ago", Tim found that quite funny, and chuckled. He assured me that the delivery driver had left with my order 15 minutes ago. It has been 10 minutes since that call, and still no sandwich.

Googled directions, this location is a 5 minute walk, and 2 minute drive from my office. Way to go guys.....subs so slow you'll starve.

UPDATE: Called again, they canceled the order. 9 minutes later, a lady delivers my order.

I got a veggie sandwich I called and spoke to Mariade jesus told her I need change because the meal cost $11.44 & I have a $20 bill she said okay The delivery driver which I think he's a hard worker! uses his own car I see him come through at my work sometimes He didn't have change which I think it was rude that Maria didn't tell him because she was the one that took my order, he had two other orders to go to and was gonna back my with my change I said okay np, I called Jimmy johns Maria Picked up I asked how come the driver didn't have any change, she said " Oh yeah it was a money order and she said the driver didn't ask her for the change" I was about to catch an attitude because number one you don't blame the driver , you take accountability and say " Oh I'm so sorry I completely forgot to tell him that you need change" But instead she pointed the finger at him which I personally didn't like.. I would give this a one star only because of Maria but She reminds me of a stuck up mexican . Anyways Delivery driver was on point if y'all ever meet him please give him...

I have continually ran into problems when ordering delivery from this location. I don’t know what it is about my address that no one can seem to find it. And I don’t appreciate when I call and am told that it was delivered when it clearly wasn’t and it is insinuated as being my fault somehow. I’m sure it was delivered somewhere, but it wasn’t to me. And it’s not the fault of lawn guys, or anyone else. I am able to see people who walk up to my door, and, in this case, I have been in the front room since I ordered my food, going on and hour and a half ago. No one has approached, there is no one working on the lawn, at my house or my neighbors. This has happened before, and in other instances I’ve cancelled my order after an hour of waiting because there was no one to deliver. I’m not angry with the people who work there, but as a corporation, it amazes me that Jimmy John’s has such slack regulations over its franchises. I don’t have this problem with any other delivery service I have used. It seems to be a Jimmy John’s...
