Ah, let me share my thrilling tale of a dining experience that redefined the concept of time itself. I had the immense pleasure of gracing KFC with my presence, anticipating a feast fit for a king. Oh, how wrong I was!
Upon entering the establishment, I couldn't help but admire the tranquil pace at which the staff moved. It was almost as if they were testing the limits of the space-time continuum, determined to explore the realms of slowness never before witnessed in fast-food history.
With bated breath, I patiently waited for my turn to place an order. It was a truly enlightening experience, as each second stretched into eternity, allowing me to contemplate the mysteries of the universe. I must confess, I almost lost track of time and questioned whether I had accidentally stepped into a black hole.
After what seemed like an eternity, I finally managed to place my order and proceeded to the pick-up counter. Alas, the term "fast-food" seemed to be a mere illusion, for the wait for my meal became a slow-motion spectacle that would rival a snail's race.
But, dear reader, do not despair! As I indulged in the exquisitely slow service, I discovered a hidden gem – the food! Despite the leisurely pace of the staff, the taste of the meal was surprisingly good, making the wait almost, dare I say it, worth it.
In conclusion, if you seek a dining experience that defies the laws of time and space, KFC is your ultimate destination. Just be prepared to embrace the super slow service and savor the flavor as you embark on a gastronomic journey like no other....
Read more4 stars instead of 5 because of a corporate (probably) KPI. In the drive thru line, there is a timer at the pickup window. To trick the timer, the employee always asks me to pull around to the front and they bring the food out to the car when it's ready.
There are a couple of good reasons to do this. One is that the cars pile up to a point at which the order speaker is blocked; in this case, yes, have me pull around so the subsequent orders can be placed and started. The other is that my order is still being prepared and the order behind me is ready; in this case, yes, have me move to the front so the customer behind me can get their food and not have to wait on me.
Alas, these good reasons are never the case when they ask me to pull to the front of the store. There is often no one behind me, or only one car behind me who they also make pull around to the front with no one behind them. I can only conclude that this practice has to be about gaming the delivery speed timer to give better scores to management and corporate.
This is annoying, and I'm sure the employees hate it too.
Management/corporate - if you're reading this, please understand that the customer at a fried chicken restaurant will always value fresh food over speed, and is willing to wait for it. Your KPI is flawed in principle, and erroneous in measurement.
As you can probably tell, I come here often. The food is great when it's fresh. Sometimes it comes from sitting under a heat lamp and it's not so great, but that's just the dice you roll when you get fried...
Read moreI ordered the Honey Bbq wings 12 count. I asked the lady were the wings hot and fresh because of my last experience they were not. She said, "yes," and I proceeded to pay. I drove around and check my food before leaving. The container was cold, and the wings look old, and it looked as though they just put the sauce on top. I then went into the building and said that this order was not fresh nor hot. The lady then said to give her 10 minutes, and they will be. So I waited. The manager came out and gave me the order. This time the wongs were burnt and old with new sauce on top. I touched one wing and told her it was scorched. She stated, " well, they are fresh." I told her that the wings were not fresh and that it looks like they warmed them in a microwave or put in the oven at the broil setting. She let me know that there wasn't a microwave in the store. I assured her that fresh wings would not look nor smell like that. I got fed up and requested a refund. I was lied to twice for the lady in the drive-through and the manager. This happened at 12/18/19 between 12 pm and 12:11 pm. There wasn't even an aroma of food being cooked. I won't ever order from here again. I don't give you my money to lie to me and give me old food. Plus, your attitude needs work,...
