Classic Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

Staff seems to be very friendly and fast. I walked in for the first time and was graded with a smile. The lady working was quick to answer my questions and patient as well.

Today I got a small sausage kolache and a small sausage cheese and jalapeno kolache. I also got one Bavarian cream filled donut. I paid just over $4 and at this price I am very happy with what I got. The kolache bread seemed a bit tougher than what I was hoping for, but ultimately was soft on the inside and came with a good flavor. These kolaches were fresh and I would have to rate the kolaches a 3.5 out of 5 star. As for the Bavarian cream filled donut, I would have to rate it a 4 out of 5 star.

Overall I give this place a 5 out of 5 star, because of the overall atmosphere and experience that I had. I am really looking forward to trying out the tacos...

My gf put me onto this place and I have been going ever since. Dude in the back was frying the twists and donut holes AMAZINGLY their dough was perfectly made and then perfectly fried by the chefs / baker. The twist had a perfect crunch and amazing shellac glaze. Perfect donuts here. Also don’t sleep on their food. Always get the Kolaches made out of croissants here. Great bang for your buck! We have been going to Classic donuts for at least 10 years, we love the whole family and the food is even better, Best breakfast tacos ever and the donuts omg yummmmm ( homer voice) and it might just be me but the blueberry donut to be exact. if you lobe flautas those are perfect and the rancheros are amazing.... listen if you want great food great people and a mom and pop place feel please...
