Went to this place twice. First time had a pretty good experience: it was in the evening before holiday season but still not super crowded, and I was seated fairly quickly. The waitress was prompt to acknowledge and grab my order. Food came out fairly quickly and waitress was still attentive and occasionally checking in on me even after serving my food, including getting the bill quickly. She was excellent!
Based on that experience, I decided to stop by on my return trip home. This time it was early in the morning (a bit before 7am) and there were a few tables seated, but less busy than my first time. It took a little longer to get seated this time, but there were two staff (I think bussers, not a waiter/waitress) who acknowledged me and worked to get me seated. They were both friendly and helpful.
After being seated and given a cup of hot tea, I waited patiently, because I was told there was only 1 waitstaff person working that morning. However after almost half an hour of waiting, nobody had stopped by to even ask how I was doing, much less actually take my order. During that time just sitting there, I overheard several customers trying to use their Priority Pass but being told their PP system was down so they would need to pay in cash, and others were told the restaurant couldn't provide any change because they didn't have enough cash to do so. And another person was already late for their flight because of the slow service.
Finally the helpful busser, who initially tried to get me seated, stopped by to ask if I was doing ok, and I told him I just wanted the bill for the tea because I needed to go. Interestingly, a manager-looking guy who actually rang up my bill turned to me and asked if I had ordered the omelette. Ummmm, no...I didn't have a chance to order anything except the tea, because nobody stopped to talk to me in the more than 30 minutes I sat at the table with my menu. 😒
Honestly I can understand having overpriced mediocre food given it's an airport restaurant. But for the same reason, fast service is the ONE thing you need to do right for an airport food joint. News flash: people are not going to the airport to dine with you for your food and ambiance....they're there waiting for a flight - that departs at a certain time. Not to mention PP is probably the main reason half the people even stop in. The food is way overpriced for the quality. Given what you get, I would never choose to dine here were it not for the PP credit. And now, I wouldn't choose to dine here even with it.
Fortunately I had a 3-hour layover so ended up grabbing a very fast and decent breakfast at a food stall just down the corridor...otherwise I have no idea if I would've made a regular connection after all that pointless waiting and drama that others apparently had to go through.
It's really a shame because I probably would have given this place 4 stars based on my initial experience. This was just one of the worst experiences I've had at any food establishment especially when time is of...

Rating: ★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Landry's Seafood, and despite the slightly long wait time for service, my experience was overall enjoyable and worthy of a four-star review. Here's an overview of my visit:
The ambiance of Landry's Seafood was warm and inviting. The interior decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The attention to detail in the restaurant's design was evident, and it added to the overall positive dining experience.
The Landry's Seafood staff was courteous and attentive. They greeted us with a friendly smile upon our arrival and promptly escorted us to our table. Despite the wait time for service being a bit longer than expected, once our server approached us, they were attentive and ready to assist us with any inquiries or requests we had throughout the meal.
While the wait for service was a minor setback, it was worth noting that the quality of the food made up for it. The menu at Landry's Seafood offered an excellent variety of dishes, with a focus on seafood. The flavors and presentation of the food were exceptional, delighting both the eyes and the taste buds.
One notable highlight of our visit was the dish Landry's Seafood is known for. The Chef's Special Lobster dish was a true masterpiece. The combination of flavors, textures, and presentations was nothing short of impressive. It was evident that the chef paid close attention to every detail in creating this delectable culinary delight.
The wait staff, despite the delay in service, were friendly and genuinely interested in ensuring our dining experience was pleasant. They periodically checked on us, ensuring our glasses were refilled and any additional requests were promptly attended to. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction left a positive impression on us.
In terms of value for money, Landry's Seafood did not disappoint. While the prices may be slightly on the higher end, the quality of the food, presentation, and overall dining experience justified the cost. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that we left satisfied and content.
Although the extended wait time for service was an inconvenience, it is important to note that Landry's Seafood appeared to be quite busy during our visit. Despite the delay, the staff remained composed and handled the situation professionally.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Landry's Seafood was overall delightful. The inviting ambiance, friendly staff, and exceptional food quality made it a memorable experience despite the slight wait for service. I would recommend Landry's Seafood to seafood lovers who are keen on indulging in a flavorful meal in a pleasant setting. Though the wait time was longer than expected, it did not significantly overshadow the positive aspects of the dining experience. Landry's Seafood earns a solid four-star rating for its exceptional culinary offerings and...
Read moreI’m not a big complainer, and I RARELY write bad reviews on a restaurant, but the overall experience was so terrible I had to say something. The person who sat me was as friendly as a strip club bouncer, the server wasn’t much better. I then present my laundry’s select club membership, as I’m a frequent diner with laundry’s restaurants, and was told by the server that they don’t take the membership cards at that location as it was franchised. This should’ve been my red flag to get up and leave, but again, I’m a frequent diner at laundry’s restaurants so it seemed like a much better option than the other choices at the terminal, boy was I wrong. I ordered an unsweetened tea, then for my meal I ordered the pan seared redfish with the Crescent city topping with red-skinned mashed potatoes and vegetable medley as as sides, then I added a side Caesar salad as well. The salad came out first- salad was warm, lettuce was wilted, and tasted like it was unwashed. That’s gross, set it aside.
Then my meal came out. I took pictures for reference, but good god it looked like cafeteria food, and tasted like it too. The vegetables were overcooked and unseasoned (basically steamed into mush) The red skinned mashed potatoes weren’t much better, very bland and had the distinct look of a cafeteria scooped portion on the plate. The fish was cooked ok, but the topping of shrimp, crawfish, and crab were unseasoned and tasted like they were warmed up in a microwave and tossed on top. The cream sauce, well, tasted like uncooked flower. Mind you, this is Landry's, they still charging Landrys prices, but the food was utter garbage. I was hungry so I did my best to eat what I could. I paid 57.52 for a trash meal I could’ve gotten at a Piccadilly cafeteria.. I’m definitely reaching out to Landry’s restaurants to let them know, because if I was the owner of the Landrys name and experienced this I’d shut this place down until...
