The food was pretty good, I can't lie and say they are the BEST but they tasted pretty good. The bread is much bigger than the meat, in some burgers. They have a funny variety of names of the burgers, it's a fun place with great art inside! Now for my honest opinion... First the building was a bit warm, which in this heat I understand wanting to save on the ac bill but its not fun to sit n eat at a restaurant and not be comfortable. Second I ordered an unsweetened tea, but they don't serve that, they serve bottled tea, so I asked for a water, but they only have bottled water which kinda came off as a "SPEND MORE MONEY" tactic from the establishment (I try not consume wasteful calories in drink unless it's alcohol hahaha😜) They don't offer a "burger basket" like with fries and a drink so every item you request is a separate and extra cost. The service was not as good as one would like, it wasn't busy when we went, so I don't get why the server wasn't on her A game. And last it was over 75 dollars for a family of 4 is WAY too much. I don't think I'd reccomend this place. But hey on the plus side they have BYOB KARAOKE NIGHT on...

The place looks great! The staff, absolutely wonderful! The loaded fries were 3/10 because the cheese sauce was that fake no flavor cheese and the fries were those cheap frozen crinkle fries that personally I’m not fond of at all. Both my man and I had the marrana burger and we both agreed it was a 5/10 cuz we are huge fans of queso flameado which is this awesome melted white cheese with chorizo in it and no matter what you really can’t go wrong with this cheese and that marrana burger had it, BUT on this marrana burger they put like a giant blob of mustard smack dab in middle of the burger which was so overwhelming and overpowering that we couldn’t taste the queso flameado and to our opinion ruined what could have been a really good burger. The only good taste we got were around the edges which did not have all that mustard. They did give us a free bud light beer out of nowhere a pleasant surprise cuz this band was playing. My hubby said the vibe and music was a way better experience than the food itself lol. If they used better quality ingredients, this place would seriously be fantastic! They should since the...

I had tried these years ago in their old location and liked them a bit better than this time around.

Food - food is ok, not bad but not out of this world to justify the prices and the up charge for every single thing. They charge for water (only offer bottled) and to grill the onions that already are included in the burger. Burgers seem decently priced until you realize they don’t even include fries in the initial price.

Drinks - doesn’t offer a coke option, but this small establishment feels it’s adequate to charge 3.59 per Pepsi. Maybe not the biggest deal, but when added to the rest of the experience it’s a con.

Atmosphere - we went on a Friday night and although I complete applaud their choice of music (great song selection) they had a band and couldn’t stay very long. I enjoy Spanish bands so much but in the right place. This place is TINY to comfortable accommodate a band playing. No matter where we were sitting, it’s like the drum was still playing right in my ear. Maybe I’m too old, but the noise was excessive for how small...

The inside of this restaurant is so vibrant and full of interesting decor. I was able to see Maleficent, Stitch, and Yoda statues, which was awesome. Service was a little on the slower side, Although the waitress did apologize since she was dealing with the beverage machine being down. We received free bottles of water since it wasn’t working. I ordered the Chilera burger, which came with ham, white cheese, fried onions, and 2 jalapeño poppers. The combination of everything was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. It paired well with a red hot sauce they brought to the table with our food. The papas preparadas on the other hand were a little underwhelming. They came out exactly as described - with yellow nacho cheese, mozzarella cheese, and bacon bits. They were ok, kinda tasted like the ones from Jack in the Box. It was about $18 for both items I got, with tax included. I might like to come again to try their baked potato and maybe some other menu items.

Delicious food and to top it all off Rosie, our cashier and server, was amazing! She greeted us, gave us time to look over the menu, and made sure all was well. Highly recommend La Chilera if you like spicy food. Update: I loved the food here so much I got take out a few days later. I don’t know what changed in the span of 5 days, but la regia burger wasn’t fresh and paled in comparison to la chilera. Worst of all, the “fries” I ordered were disgusting. They were gray, hard, and dry. Not even edible. I don’t know who was managing the kitchen or take out orders that day, but I’m pretty sure they stored the old fries and packed them for take-outs so customers don’t notice they’re days old when you get home. I’m truly saddened, I really liked this place. At least the cashier was still nice.
