Whataburger — Restaurant in Houston

Although this location isnt in the best area, it is WAYYYYYYYY better than the one on Fuqua and def worth the extra drive. They actually season their food, it's always hot and fresh, and the staff is super efficient and sharp! Unlike some other fast food restaurants in the area, they are customer service oriented and have had proper training (its pretty evident). Matter of fact, there was a worker named Karen that saved me a headache and saved my day. She had about a 7 car line in drive thru, taking orders, ringing me up and bagging up my food, and she still managed to be courteous, prompted me to get the right condiments that paired with my food, ... asI began to dirve off--- she had enough quick sense to get my attention to tell me I had left my debit card in the cup (during Covid19 shutdowns). I go to this particular Whataburger because it's close to my job and my co worker and I usually have a taste for hamburgers early in the morning when we start our shift at 4 a.m. The food is served hot and fresh but I only like going there when Shamira is working the drive thru. Her personality is so pleasant and welcoming even in the early morning hours. She's extremely polite and professional and she's always accommodating when I ask for extra napkins or ketchup. Most of the workers there are clearly NOT MORNING PEOPLE!!! Although it's a roll of the dice for me whenever I decide to go there for breakfast (because I never know what the service will be like or how long the drive thru line will be) it's always worth it when I hear Shimira's voice over the Order Intercom, because I know right then that it was worth the 8...

Very disappointed with this location. My husband and I used to always get food here and it was ALWAYS accurate and hot and service was friendly ff 2 yrs later and literally every single time the order is incorrect, cold, missing items, no napkins or cutlery, and the service is less than subpar at best. The male supervisor overnight is extremely combative and refuses to even entertain the idea that he may need to work on order accuracy and temp control. Any time my husband or myself have ever brought these issues to his attention he seems to take it as a personal attack against himself and becomes extremely defensive and combative, which may be contributing to why the same issues never seem to get resolved. We have since chosen to explore other late night options and it will probably be quite a while before we return...
