Loaded Burger — Restaurant in Houston

We’ve been coming here for over a decade when this was known as M&M grill. Everyone who knows me and my husband knows how much we love this place. We’ve been coming here at least twice every month even though we live 40-50 miles away. These are THE BEST burgers we’ve ever had…we’ve been in love since our first visit. Their loaded burger is what you would imagine a burger from heaven taste like. The mango habanero salsa is out of this world, perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Their chili cheese fries are also a must.

Whenever we have friends or family visiting Houston, this place is our number one recommendation. There has been many changes in our lives but one thing that has remained constant is this place. We would come here 1-2 times a week in college (still have pics from coming here from a decade ago). Bringing our kids here for the first time since they were born was a big milestone in our lives. Parents record and remember their child’s first steps, we remember their first bites at M&M. My husband was late to our wedding in the evening because he was grabbing lunch with his family who were visiting from out of town (no joke lol 🤣).

But in all seriousness, we’ve tried halal burgers in many cities and countries and nothing is comparable. I do miss the Mexican food a lot (especially the chimichanga and fajitas). Really wish it was coming back because they were amazing and also provided more options. The new renovation has definitely made it more family friendly!

I was in the medical center area and was craving a burger. This was very close and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the loaded cheeseburger and the mushroom burger. First of all, I underestimated the size of the burgers, so make sure you come HUNGRY They were both double meet and packed. Also, they do come with a lot of onions. They have grilled onion and fried crispy French onion. They're huge, they're messy but most importantly full of flavor. The loaded cheeseburger had jalapeños and I chose jalapeño ranch instead of regular. The mushroom burger was also good. It had more of a creamy taste. The burger meat has that nice sear but are still juicy. I preferred the loaded cheeseburger because it has that spicy kick. Burgers are about $10-12 and do not come with fries. Honestly, the burger is good enough, unless you're the type of person that needs fries with your burger. The vibe was chill and I like the Htown decor. If you want to get a bang for your buck come here and don't pay $15 for kids...

No thanks - I will spend my money on a real gourmet burger joint instead.

Unfortunately all your money will buy you here is a pathetic pile of cheap 'bread' and low grade wholesale meat. With a bunch of trash ingredients thrown recklessly in-between for a marked up price. It is not worth it.

Should be called trash burger - a flavor deficient sloppy mess that depends on cheap condiments to give it flavor burger. Or maybe insult burger; because it is an insult to what a proper burger should be.

Clearly this places menu was not created by anyone who actually attended a culinary school, let alone a reputable one.

This is just another imposter, copycat business attempting to capitalize on the gourmet burger market and doing a terrible job at it.

These guys obviously have no idea what actually makes a great burger let alone a gourmet burger and they clearly are just making up anything that they think will....
