I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and was disappointed to find that it has serious hygiene issues. Unfortunately, my experience was tarnished by the presence of half a dozen baby Russian roaches that emerged from the hot plate holder and spread around my table and on my food. The lack of cleanliness and hygiene was evident, and it left me feeling disgusted and uneasy. What's even more disappointing is that I used to be a regular customer of this establishment. It's clear that the restaurant has let its standards slip and failed to maintain a pest-free environment. The fact that the roaches were found in the hot plate holder suggests that the restaurant's equipment and surfaces are not being properly cleaned and sanitized. As a customer, I have a right to expect a safe and hygienic dining experience. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to meet those expectations. I was even more disappointed when they offered me a refund without me asking for it and then denied it when I refused. It's clear that the management is not taking this issue seriously. For the sake of the safety of other customers, especially children, I strongly advise the management to take immediate action to address these issues, including implementing proper pest control measures and ensuring that all surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. In light of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to others. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to regain the trust of their customers.

My family does not eat pork, so we chose this spot because it is halal. We were a little disappointed that the menu we viewed online was very different than the offerings at the restaurant. We were hoping to get enchiladas, falafel, and shawarma, but once we arrived, we were told that they discontinued everything except burgers and hotdogs. Since we had driven about 30 miles to eat here, we decided to try some things off the menu so it wouldn't be a wasted trip. We ordered the chili cheese hot dog, chopped cheese, 10 garlic parmesan chicken wings, and an order of fries. The food portions were decent for the price. The chili was seasoned well. The chopped cheese was good; it is a hoagie with sauteed ground beef, which was not overly seasoned. The fries were crinkle cut, with the right amount of crisp on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. They even had koolaid slushes. The only negative aspect of the food we ordered, pertained to the chicken wings. We don't consume a lot of salt but it didn't seem as if the chicken had any salt or seasoning applied to it prior to it being cooked. The coating on the chicken was minimal (which we liked) and the wings were fried nice and golden, but they were very bland. Overall, the experience was good and we'll probably return if we're in the area again, but we wouldn't order the wings again.

Halal ?? People told me Halal won't be easily available in Houston. But wow... For someone from India & Pakistan I think this is spicy enough. And there's a decent Mexican and Arabian variety. Just tell at counter while placing the order that you need it to be spicy or very spicy or extra mustard sauce or whatever... And don't worry it's zabeeh Halal. If other than the menu, you have something custom to order like you need just the grilled chicken piece so that you can make rest of the burger at home or customize the veggie footlong of subway, then just tell at the counter and they will probably manage. No pork.. Closed on Sundays.. Limited parking.. Limited seating.. A bit busy at times.. A bit over-priced.. Cooperative and guiding staff.. Decent variety.. Good quality.. Sufficient quantity.. And yes yummy !!! 5 stars from me...

Caveat to this whole review- I dont like leaving negative reviews, but I hope management sees this and makes improvements to bring m&m back to its heyday.

Ive been coming to m&m since 2014ish. Back then m&m was THE spot to get halal burgers and mexican food, and I remember specifically that I could barely bite the double loaded bc it was so packed with patties and toppings. I also recall the fajitas coming on sizzling plates, and the smoke filling the air with pure ecstasy lol.

Over the past 10 years, the quality has steadily declined and there have been some odd moves made by management. For example, the mexican menu has been off for 9ish months at the time of writing this. The fajitas were one of the main reasons I would come here, and there is no line of sight to when they will return. The burgers are also smaller and lower quality then they used to be. The buns are soggy, the cheese is not melted, and the patties are small. In summary, the quality of the food here has definitely taken a nosedive.

Additional note on the staff. We placed our order, the food came, but we were missing a sandwich. When reviewing the receipt, we noticed the sandwich was missing from the order even though we distinctly remember ordering it. Even the cashier remembered the order when I went to check on the sandwich. I get it, mistakes happen, I used to work in the food industry as a delivery driver. I would let this go if the food used was the same size, quality, and taste that it used to be.

Unfortunately thats not the case, and I hope this review helps...
