Update as of 8:30PM Sunday July 17th
I understand we've all been through a lot over the past week with the hurricane & outages, however, customer service is paramount for any business/company, as well as, those of us in the industry that actually strive to be of Value to your organization by continuously providing top notch customer service & a pleasant experience to your guest's- in order to grow, expand, retain clients & repeat business, adding to the bottom line, exceeding your KPIs & sales goals etc.
So this isn't a bashing- just wanted to update management of my experience tonight as I called this location after placing an order via Uber Eats & I called solely to request substituting crossaint bread on my sandwich, as Ive done every time dozens of times now- I was greeted by a young lady, I explained what I just mentioned & asked for the substitute crossaint bread, even apologized for any inconvenience, despite it just being prepared with a different bread...after a few minutes of trying to locate my order, the response I was given in a frustrated tone, was "I'll change the bread".. that was it. Not any "is there anything else I can do for you tonight?" Or even "ok thanks for calling, we'll have it ready for pick up shortly have a great night!" No, literally only 4 words & then hung up after I thanked her again. So we'll see how the food is tonight but I'm keeping review at 5 stars because as my prior review states, usually they are very helpful & the food's usually been consistent. But customer service needs a refresher maybe. End update.
Always excellent customer service, order accuracy has been equally as excellent and the food never disappoints. Great place. Pro tip: Get the King Club Sandwich on Croissant bread, it's...
Read moreBrought our soccer team here — 9 kids plus parents and family — and we pretty much took up one whole side of the place. The dining area is clean and spacious, which made it easy for a big group like ours.
Easy to find with big double front doors and plenty of visibility from FM 1960, though Google Maps had us loop around because of the nearby construction. Just a heads up: there’s actually a driveway right next to the restaurant that makes access easier. Parking is right up front with both parallel and regular spots.
The staff was super friendly and efficient. Only two people were working the counter, but they handled our large group well, and food came out in about 10 minutes. I really appreciated that they clear the tables for you — no need to bus your own trays.
Food was great! I had the 6” Italian with chips, and my son got the BLT with a baked potato — both were delicious. Prices are fair, especially for the quality. McAlister’s always shines with their tea selection, and this location didn’t disappoint: peach, black cherry, strawberry, classic sweet tea, and more. Plus they’ve got fountain drinks, free refills, and cookies, soups, and salads if you want something different.
Other nice touches: napkins on the tables, very clean restrooms, high chairs for babies, and tables that fit up to six people comfortably.
Overall, this spot is family-friendly, clean, quick, and affordable. I’d definitely recommend this McAlister’s — especially if you’ve got a...
Read moreFirst time customer at this location. Last time I will come here. No handicap access, no handicap parking. Online ordering was not working properly. And no wifi available. No greeting when we went in and it was not busy. We was not asked if I had the app nor if I wanted to use my app to earn points. I ordered a sandwich, that comes on a croissant. My croissant could not have been flatter, and the salad greens were tough. As I had never been to this location I ordered the fresh fruit, expecting berries & grapes. I am assuming now, that each location has their own way of creating a fresh fruit bowl. I have never had pineapple in my fruit bowl. This one is full of pineapple. I cannot eat pineapple. I'm not considered allergic but I do have negative physical reactions... Let's cut to the chase, I arrived home and opened the flat sandwich, saw that the fruit bowl was full of pineapple, and looked at the receipt to find my barcode to earn the points. This number does not match anything in the system. Surprise surprise. I don't understand what happened, but everything about this visit was on the wonky side. The sandwich was not okay, it was like eating a sandwich with pancakes as bread. Tough mixed greens, ONE tomato? I have been to three locations, Conroe location is amazing! This one is terrible. Do...
