Oh I take my reviews very seriously and if needed I update as I go. Today, I had an unpleasant experience with this lady in the drive through. This McDonald’s location is the closest a location I have to my house so I tend to also use my app on my phone to make orders for pickup. As I was on my way today and got to the drive through….my App Order randomly disappeared. This was not my first time using the app so it was weird that, that happened. I get to the drive through line and woman answered asking what she can get for me. I kindly expressed that I had an app order and I know I pressed to pay on my phone but I no longer see it. I asked if she can check on her system if she sees any app orders. Woman states she can not see any orders on her end and asks me to go to the first window to check. I agree but ask. “If your unable to see any app orders are you able to take my food order in the first window as well?” Woman stayed quiet and rudely answered with just “Front window” I responded stating “I’m sorry but you have not answered my question” I again explained “if not, so I can go ahead and state my food order with you again now” woman did not respond to my question again and I asked if she was able to hear me well. She responded to me stating “What?!” In a demanding voice. In that moment I just checked my McDonald’s app once again to see if I had any pending orders and did not see any again and decided to risk having my order taken once again since I knew there was cars behind me and wanted to avoid having to wait for my order to be back up.
*Im currently pregnant and I try to avoid any, if not all stressful things since I already have enough to deal with personally. I understand you work in McDonald’s and might hate working there at this time but the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness with someone that wasn’t even using that tone with you in the beginning is just intolerable. I was using the first left lane of the drive through from the time of...
Read moreIt’s so unfair to have this McDonald’s as my primary McDonald’s. From cold food, horrendously long waits (20 minutes is the norm after school), no accountability, no answers, unless you are fluent in spainish which is shameful. The straw that broke the camels back was the event that happened today. My Spanish was limited to only ordering food and sometimes pointing, why McDonald’s can hire non english speakers, today my questions went beyond the basic menu items. “Why can’t I get bacon and cheese fries in large”? This was way to complex for me to translate and too much for the native Mexican to understand. So I asked kindly asked for someone that spoke better English.
Oh boy!
I was immediately verbally attacked by a couple calling me a racist, and Trump supporter? Because of the wall? Who knows. All I wanted to know is why these fries only come in medium. I asked the guy if it was racist to not understand spainish in an American speaking country. Needless to say he and his wife were uneducated at best, I wasn’t suprised most people have more tact than to scream racist in a public place.
Anyway, to my point. McDonald’s is one of the business’s that I feel are trying to reinvent themselves: fresh beef (for some burgers), signature burgers, mc cafe, and pies are back! I love McDonald’s, it’s comfort food. But we all vote with our dollars and wouldn’t it be a shame that with all these changes against a formidable competition out there... McDonald’s lost ideology politics and poor management versus making great damn food! I guess the morale of the story is to build large cheese fries with pictures instead of building walls....
Read moreUnfortunately I encountered a very rude gentleman Shavik "manager for night shift"on today 12/1/24 @ 1757. As I opted to wait for my drink at the window, instead of moving. The young gentleman at the second window inforned me the drink would take less than 5 minutes, and so since it has happened before at this location that i have waited over 10 min for a drink, I informed the gentleman i would wait at the window for that reason. The manager came to the window and I gesture with my hand I would wait there. Since I was on a work call, he opted to come outside to the drive thru line and take a picture of my license plate and call the police. Very unnecessary behavior, when I asked him why he was taking a picture he said "because of you" meaning myself since I didn't want to move to wait for my drink, which in all honesty was ready in less than 3 minutes. As the young cashier handed my drink. Manager stated he called the police, so I asked him if he wanted me to wait for them. I then drove off and the manager went out the front doors to scream "Hey " as I was driving off, this now felt it turned into threatening behavior, no need for you to still come outside after I was driving off. I expect management to contact me ASAP, if i didnt get his name right I also told him i was taking a picture of him to report him to corporate. Believe me I worked fast food for 10 years and NEVER did I make a customer feel...
