Michoacan Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Houston

So it has been a while since I have been to this place. I typically order the Gordita combo and it’s good.

Today my family and I ordered to go. My wife and daughter ordered green enchiladas one beef and the other chicken. Wife picked the order up, once we got home we realized that they gave us a order of quesadilla that was bitten and chilaquiles verdes. My son and I ordered the Gordita combo, and the order was right.

My wife called and informed them of the mistake. They asked us if we can return the items and they will make the right order. I go back to the restaurant and returned the items. Their apology was very nonchalant. The clerk comes up to me and asked me if the ticket was the right order in which she showed me the 2 green enchiladas(chicken and beef). So i confirmed and said yes two enchiladas verdes. They took another 15-20min to make. The clerk comes up to me and gives me order and apologized again nonchalantly and I assumed they got it right.

I get back home and lo and behold they gave chilaquiles verdes again and red enchiladas with 2 chicken legs on top. The cook must be color blind and doesn’t know Mexican food. My wife and daughter got stuck with eating the chilaquiles and the red enchiladas. What place gets the order wrong twice in a lapse of an hour. If they would have had the order right the second time 100% sure I would’ve written this review. Most likely won’t go back to this place. Came to eat with my parents and didn’t even get to try the food because the waitress took orders from people that came after us. Looks like they were her friends by the way they all hugged her and were very talkative. I told the waitress why she was taking their order before us when we’ve been seating here for about 10 minutes straight with drinks and she just says that she’s sorry and doesn’t give us an explanation why we’re still waiting to get our orders in. End of story we just pay for our drinks after she just leaves and doesn’t come back to get our orders cause she’s too busy taking her friends orders. We missed them! Someone had bought them t..hen they returned. The quality of food has definitely returned since they've been back. Katherine that helped us was so awesome and helpful. They even give you free dessert! We got a carnitas burrito and carne asada tacos and a carnitas taco. Excuse the nacho pic. I promise they give cheese 😂. We asked for ours on the side. The black bean soup was delicious too. The restaurant is so clean. They even have a nice bar and low-key dining area that's perfect for date night in the neighborhood. Glad to...
