Entryway is minimalist.. Feels like a speakeasy because it's so concealed.
Minimalist industrial interior matches current trends, but isn't my idea for a cozy spot to read, but definitely a good place to study or work with minimal distractions
If the 6 different kinds of pour overs weren't enough indicators... With a short conversation, you can tell the apron-donned owner has a passion for his shop and coffee. He loves making people smile, and I can tell he is passionate about every part of the process, from his cupping classes for the coffee connoisseurs to the creatively candy layered concoctions they make for the young and influencer crowd.. All the indicators are there.
There seems to be a lot of choices and means to try a ton of things every time you're there.
They also use the "good" (pure) stevia. It's ceremonial and works better than any of the other sugar alternatives. But that's my stevia when I'm there, so don't over hype that part too much-- or we'll get packets y'all.
Very underhyped, which I selfishly like. There's all the good indicators of a good business here from a product and service standpoint... but curb appeal, vibe and warmth of atmosphere will make the difference between surviving and thriving for this East End gem.
