Absolutely disgraceful experience! Extremely blatant racism displayed from the moment I walked in the door. I walked in with no one in front or coming in behind me with the hostess standing right in front of me doing nothing but when she seen me she walked off. I waited 5 minutes before another person walked in the door only for that hostess to immediately ask that person (White Person) how my I help you. I was got & wanted to go off but I have more sense than that. Long story short another host came asked me what I wanted & I told her I wanted to ask the other worker why she never helped me when I walked in but she never did. A man walked by that looked like a manager so I asked him was he a manager, he said yes then I explained everything that just happened & I asked him could he ask that lady why she never helped me . Same thing walked by her never saying a word to her & came back telling me that customers have priority. & I told him I am a customer I’m here for a pick up order just like they were & I was here 5 mins before any of them walked in. He pissed me off so bad trying to justify that ladies behavior. He couldn’t even reply. He was frustrated & throwing his hands up, doing everything but asking that woman why she never helped me. So he just grabbed my order & I snatched it out his hands & told them I will be filing a lawsuit. If you’re black don’t ever come give these people your money. I’m warning the whole vibe is dark & I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by it’s cover but everybody sitting in that restaurant working or not looked like they hated...
Read moreWe just had one of the worst restaurant experiences of our lives. Celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and our 35th anniversary, we chose to go to one of our favorite Italian restaurants, Palazzo's on Briar Ridge. Being a Monday, we took advantage of their 50% off bottles of wine, plus I had a birthday coupon for a free appetizer. Waiter said no problems, all went well and the food was great as usual. At bill time, manager comes and says they will accept only one coupon at a time, so we would have to pay for the appetizer. I noted to him that we were using only one coupon, as the wine deal was not on a "coupon" basis -- which didn't seem to register with him. When I said that wasn't explained to me up front (in which case we would have passed on the appetizer), he basically said "tough". To no avail, I cried out "United Airlines", but the manager would not budge, nor would he comp the appetizer, as virtually all other managers would have done in this situation. I owed an extra $13 for the appetizer for which I had a coupon, and that was that -- he would not budge. Fine -- take your stupid $13 but at the same time take me off your email list as I will never cross your threshold again. In sum -- night manager was highly inconsiderate, rude and non-accommodating, and just blew a 15 year customer out the door. ...
Read moreThey are getting the two stars for the taste if the food. Their uncleanliness and unwillingness to make right what they did wrong, is why they aren't getting 5 stars. They served my food to another customer. After the other customer's child sneezed and coughed on the plate, the manager picks up the plate and brings it to the back. Seconds later, here it comes out of the kitchen like its somehow been sanitized by entering the kitchen. I ask if that is the same player they just gave the other lady, it is. The waitress giggles and says "yeah, let me go have them make you another, they told me to bring this out to you."
In less than 3 minutes, another plate magically appears, when it took them 15 to get it prepared before, and all of a sudden this is brand new again. At the end of dinner, they provide the family who was served the wrong plate 50% off of their meal, while they charge full price to the customer who's food was given to another customer, contaminated, and then lied to about it being remade.
At first. I thought, wow, what a great new place to eat at... after my 1st experience with them, I doubt I will ever return based on the crappy service provided. But the...
