I went in there, after I drove 45 miles to go to their restaurant, And told the Waitress I wanted a three meat plate; she charges me I didn’t complain about the charge. I added more than 20% tip then I gave her another three dollars when she brought the bag out to me. I’m thinking that I’m gonna get this three meat plate with the food that requested I didn’t even look at it because she even pointed it out to me what it was and told me yes it is three meat and you get this this and this and salad and rice and a couple of different sauces. I also added on there to pita bread I get home I had to do some things I wanted to sit down and eat my food and I have something in there that has rice and a piece along meat. I said oh no I took it all the way back over there 45 miles to drive and I’m talking to this I don’t know manager. I guess he was at the register and told him that I ordered the three meat plate. He says to me that there must’ve been some confusion because this meat they gave me is a fusion of lamb and hamburger meat on a skewer. I told him no I told her three meat plate and she pointed it out to me and I said oh OK so that’s three meat separate right they’re on one plate yes. They refunded me my money no questions, but I don’t know why they didn’t fix it instead of refunding me money the girl didn’t even offer the three extra dollars that I gave her when she came out and brought the plate to me that was supposed to be a three meat plate. I don’t even know if I wanna order from them again this is not the first time that I had a problem the first time I had a problem when I went in there, I just got off work and I looked all raggedy and they were looking at me like oh we’re not gonna treat her right because she probably won’t give us a tip. I had cash in my hand to give him a tip. I don’t have a problem with tipping.. but with their attitude, the first time I didn’t give him the money for the tip. And at that time, I was thinking, should I go back in there or not so again...
Read moreParking: Large parking lot. Restaurant is in a shopping center so there is a lot of parking spots here.
Time and Day: Came on a Saturday evening at 6:00 PM and it was about 20% full. However, by the time it was 8:00 PM, it was completely full.
Food: I ordered the Mixed Grill Platter ($26.00) and the Mango Stuffed Chicken ($23.00). For the Mix Grill Platter, it came with Shish Kabob, Shish Tawook & Kufta. All three skewers were delicious. As for the rice, carrots, zucchini, and squash, they didn’t have a strong taste. If you are getting this dish you must be going for the skewers and nothing else on the plate. So this dish gets a 3/5. However, the Mango Stuffed Chicken was amazing. As the name suggests, it is literally chicken stuffed in a mango. The mango is used for the sauce and I am impress because I was skeptical at how mango can be used with chicken. Well this restaurant surprised me. If you are here for the first time, just get the Mango Stuffed Chicken as it gets a solid 5/5.
Service: Service was above average here. Was promptly greeted at the door, we told them we reserved a table, and were quickly escorted to it. Waitress checked up on us, refilled water, and was friendly. Service overall gets a 4/5.
Price: Little bit pricy here. The Mixed Grill Platter was not worth the $26 but the Mango Stuffed Chicken was. When in doubt, go for the Mango Stuffed Chicken as it is worth your money.
Overall: Just come here for the Mango Stuffed Chicken because I can’t stop thinking about it. It was both delicious and unique. Overall, this...
Read moreSo, my brother and I decided to give this place a try mainly because of Keith Lee's review. We ordered what he recommended - I got the chicken Shawarma wrap, and my brother opted for the stuffed mango chicken breast. The verdict? Well, the food was decent, but not mind-blowing. The chicken Shawarma wrap was just okay, and I could've skipped it. I might explore other menu items if I ever return. The location is a bit out of my way, so it's not my first choice.
The restaurant asked Keith Lee for a review due to limited marketing funds, and in today's social media-driven world, it makes sense. When we arrived, we noticed a diverse crowd, likely influenced by Keith Lee's review. Surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded. They served complimentary chips with oil, which was a unique touch.
We were informed that the stuffed chicken would take 30 minutes to prepare, which was understandable for ensuring proper cooking. The chicken came with grilled vegetables and potatoes au gratin, and I must say, the potatoes were amazing. My Shawarma wrap only came with the wrap itself, so I ordered fries on the side, but they were rather mediocre.
During our visit, a couple of other groups walked in, and one person sat at the bar. However, for a Saturday around 3 PM, it was relatively empty. I wasn't a fan of the music selection, and some employees seemed idle, just standing around with their hands in their pockets. Despite Keith Lee's high praise, I might opt for delivery next time. It didn't feel like dining in added much to the experience,...
