We’ve got another fun restaurant right here in Kingwood that has a great atmosphere and even outdoor seating and patio area to hang (when the sun isn’t trying to melt us off the face of the earth!) @Parry’s Pizza in Kingwood has fantastic pizza, pasta, and more (like their Parmesan bread 🤤)! They also have a great bar with a ton of tv’s all over to watch your favorite sports games. Support local and go check them out!! šŸ“ 4331 Kingwood Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339 #houston #pizza #dinner #happyhour #kingwoodtx

I'm in a local group of retirees who eat out for lunch locally once a month. I had suggested we try Parry's as it is new and quite affordable. We called ahead when they opened for lunch and got on the Waitlist for 12:30, I told them their could be up to 14 of us. Arrived a bit before and the friendly staff said they were getting our tables set up. As a cool front had arrived recently I asked about sitting on the patio but they said it wasn't opened up yet for service. In the end they sat us at 2 table close together. I asked if we could push them together into one long table but they said that unfortunately they were bolted to the floor! It worked out and in the end their were only 12 of us, I think 14 would have been a bit crowded. Our server was JJ and was nice and took drink orders which came out quite quickly, most of our group had iced tea but I had a Shiner Octoberfest and it was good. We gave our food orders and waited. I know this place is new but perhaps the kitchen needs a bit more time to get in swing, we had food coming out sporadically. I get it when a different staff member brings out some plates and has to ask who had what but your main server should know this and not keep asking. And some entrees were simple but took a long time to appear. Out of the 12 of us my wife was the last to be served, almost 45 minutes after we were seated. She had ordered the Veggie Pizza and was surprised that it had lots of veggies and pepperoni! As soon as it appeared she asked the server who said the kitchen got it wrong. She left to reorder from the kitchen. The correct pizza finally came out but by then most of us were done eating. My wife did say it was very good, we like a thin crisp crust which is what this had, the veggies were fresh and plenty were there. Eventually our server brought separate tickets and we got out credit cards. Took a while to get them all rung up. My wife figured the mix up was not the fault of the server so tipped the bill. Personally, I think they should have comped the pizza as it was so late in arriving after being made incorrectly. Oh well, we took half home for a second lunch the next day. My score is 4 stars for nice ambiance, a friendly staff and overall good service from our server. Food was good and I enjoyed the beer, they do have a big list of tap and bottle beers. Hopefully the kitchen will improve in their timing and execution of orders.

We were so excited to try Perry's after reading the reviews and seeing pictures. But, we were not impressed. We did a delivery order, we thought it was being handled through Perry's, but it wasn't, it was door dash. When it arrived, over an hour later, (that part I was aware before hand) it was missing one of the two entrĆ©es. I immediately called the Door Dash person, but they didn't answer, so I called the restaurant. I could tell immediately when they answered, they knew they had messed up. After being put on hold a couple of times, I finally got someone. She told me I could come get it, I advised I ordered delivery, because I didn't have a vehicle available. Then proceeded to tell me basically that was my issue, contact door dash, they don't do delivery. In my opinion, you shouldn't have a delivery option listed on your website if it isn't yours. You should notify the customer of the fact you will be using a third party. So, I call door dash. I'm told, I will get a refund.. I said, no I want a re-delivery. My husband had his food, but we always eat together, so he placed his in the oven to wait.. almost an hour later, I did get my Title Town Pasta. Should have taken the refund. Was not impressed. Probably the same one that was left in the beginning.. oh and did I mention, no bread?? So, basically for $17.08, I got spaghetti noodles and a marinara sauce. Oh and a sprinkle of cheese. Now my husband and I get our food out. And my husband's calzone had no meat.. just jalapeƱos and cheese. On a good note. The salad was good. All in all, I believe, if you are going to have a place to order on your website, it should notify you it is going through a third party.. We have had issues with Door Dash a lot and usually shy away from locations that do not allow you to use other delivery services or delivery themselves. What a shame, our expectations were so high. šŸ˜”

We have lived in Kingwood since 2010. We like to eat locally. When it comes to pizza, we usually order delivery. We have known about Parry's Pizza in Kingwood since they opened in September 2024. We made an attempt to eat there about a month after the official opening on a Saturday. It was so busy the wait was approximately 45 minutes according to the hostess at the front desk. The wait time was a little too long, so we opted to leave and agreed that we would try again later. We thought, that this place must be amazing based on the wait time and the booming business traffic. Jump forward 10 months. We decided to give Parry's another try on Saturday, August 16th at 7:05 p.m. We have 4 in our party. My wife, my 13 and 15 year old sons, and myself. We walked in to chaos just inside the front doors. The check-in podium had a young lady attending to incoming customers. This is a very congested area with the hostess tending to dine-in customers and take-out pick up orders. We were seated within 5 minutes. Not horrible. We were seated just to the right of the podium in a half booth and half chairs spot right next to the front door traffic. It was loud , but we decided to tough it out. We sat there for more than 5 minutes before the waitress, Eunice appeared to take our drink and appetizer orders. First off, Eunice seemed unfriendly. She didn't even tell us her name. We made note of her name badge. She took our drink order and appetizer order. We received our teas and soda drinks with in 7 minutes. My wife tried a signature cocktail that came 13 minutes after to get to her. I wont express her opinio. About the quality of the cocktail. I will just say that she didn't like it. We received our appetizer 30 minutes after we were seated. That is way too long. Eunice never checked on us during this wait. She tended to the table in the same booth area, and didn't even address us or apologize for the long wait. She finally took our order, and a few minutes later our appetizer arrives with another employee. 45 minutes after being seated we received our 2 pizzas and my wife's dish. The pizza was OK. Not worth the $100 check that we paid. Eunice did not check on us after the food was brought out. We did not receive a single refill on any of our drinks during over a one-hour visit. I would also like to point that we saw who appeared to be a manager (a lady with long braid like hair with glasses) visiting tables in other areas, but she never made it to our area. I would like to point out that the dine-in business was not packed full like our first attempt. The take-out pick up orders was booming. There were two other young men were finally assisting the young lady hostess. They all seemed overwhelmed. No manager was helping to over see or checking on the chaos. We witnessed and overheard 3 takeout customers visibly upset about the wait time for their food. It was blatantly obvious that their dine-in business had dropped off at dinner time in the 10 months since our first attempt at dining here. Based on the the increased take-out it appears many others like the food but prefer to avoid the chaos, lack of proper management and terrible service. Ibwpuld also like to say, once the chaos slowed down at the front, the hostess had her face plastered on her phone on the podium. She sould have been doing so many other things. This was the worst dine-in experience we have had at any restaurant we have eaten at in Kingwood. We wish Parry's Kingwood the best, but this will be our last order from them in any capacity. I would also like to state for the record that I have never left a review, good or bad, for any restaurants. This was such a bad experience, I had to leave my thoughts. My suggestions are simple. Separate the pick up and dine-in greeting areas. Dedicate employees for each service. Hire servers that smile. Train the tge servers to properly greet customers and introduce themselves by name. This is a business transaction between the customer and the server. A proper introduction is paramount and it humanized and...

Had pizza and a beer. Food is good. Service is horrible. Walked in and stood at host stand waiting to be acknowledged. Manager and hostess were talking. After they finish talking, they just stood there for about a minute and then finally the manager walked off. We stood there for another minute or so and then finally leaned in to ask if this a seat yourself kind of place. She said, in a manner to suggest I’m dumb, how can I help you? We said we wanted to be seated so she said it would be 20 to 25 minutes. I looked around and saw quite a few empty tables and said OK. Another guy appeared and said hey I’m just cleaning off a table and I’ll have a place for you in just a second. Even better. I noticed in the cooler by the host stand that it had something in a can that I wanted to try so when we finally sat down I told the waiter. The waiter asked what I would want as back up just in case they’re out because they’re often out of things. I let him know I saw it up front. We got waters after about 10 minutes and took our order. We didn’t get our drinks - one in a can and one on tap, for more than 30 minutes later. It took another half an hour after that to get the pizza. When that was delivered by the hostess, we had to ask for plates. One was crusted cheese dirty but wet from the dishwasher, I guess. Then we had to ask for napkins (none provided on table nor silverware). I wanted some cheese and peppers for the pizza so I started looking to other tables to find it. The waiter saw me looking and asked what I wanted. I said I wanted some cheese and peppers and he said he’d get it for me and then he decided to take the order of the 8 person table next to us that just sat down, so I went and got it myself. The waiter then loudly instructed me to find it at the bar area. There were games on the patio that very visibly dirty. The part that bothered me was the Velcro catch game where young kids were throwing the balls in the air back-and-forth across the patio and frequently missing. I didn’t care for the balls flying around my head. I don’t think we’ll be back but not because of the food- it’s because of the service. I don’t fault the very young hostess for her attitude. Nor the waiter who seemed to need help with few tables. It’s more about the manager that was standing around and seemed to care less. True I don’t know what troubles they might be having in the back, but I think I was patient. And management made no effort to show hospitality or awareness of table times. There are other places that want your money...
