Pepperoni's Pizza - Houston Heights — Restaurant in Houston

I call into this location a lot, at least once a month. Tonight was a horrible experience. I called to make a delivery order and all went well. When asked if I would like to tip the driver I said absolutely BUT when I said how much the person on the phone scoffed, had the audacity to tell me it was too low and went as far as to say that if I want to be frugal I shouldn’t be ordering food. I informed him I order from this location all the time and always tip that amount and he claims he’s taken my order before. He then proceeded to tell me the order cannot be delivered, as in he would not allow any of the drivers to deliver the food. I asked to speak to a manager and he claimed to be one. Said his name is Omid. I use to manage a pepperonis and was never allowed to speak to anyone that way. Also tipping is optional, meaning I have the right to tip as much as I want or nothing at all. I have contacted corporate and I am very good friends with the CEO and general manager of the main franchises who I have already contacted. I’m not looking for a handout and I will never order from this location again. The gentleman is clearly abusing his power and could’ve handled the situation very differently. It was unacceptable. As a prior pepperonis employee I suggest he be demoted or your establishment will not last...

I wish they would stop using door dash or other delivery services. They are slow. My food arrives cold and soggy and they just leave it on my patio floor[disgusting, who puts food on the floor] and don't knock on the door. I live very close. It should not take this long.

Update Delivered by delivery service again. No knock on door Food left on floor I DONT WANT MY FOOD TO BE ON THE FLOOR. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK ? ISNT THAT COMMON SENSE?

Please hire your own delivery people.

Ordered delivery on a Saturday evening -- online ordering was easy and quick, the food was delivered early compared to the estimated arrival time, and everything was correct and still hot. The pizza was delicious - looking forward to trying some other toppings/specialty pizzas! I wish they had garlic knots or bread sticks, but the garlic bread was tasty. Check their website and social media - there are now discounts and specials available which help save a few dollars. I'm glad to have found my new neighborhood go-to pizza after La Fresca...
