This pho place hits the spot if you don’t want to drive to Chinatown. It’s located near NRG in the same shopping center as Fiesta. I ordered the summer roll with shrimp and pork. They called it a summer roll vs a spring roll. It was freshly made but I thought it was odd that it lacked any cilantro or bean sprouts in it. It was made with just the protein, noodles, and shredded lettuce. Next item I ordered was the triple T pho that had brisket, tendon, tripe, and tenderloin. The pho had decent flavor more on the sweet side but the noodles were slightly undercooked. The brisket was also a bit tough. The tenderloin was the best cut of beef and the tripe & tendon were good. Service was attentive and great. Overall, if you’re in the area it’s worth stopping by. It’s not the best pho in Houston but it...

We finally found a pho place by the house I read the reviews and we just had to try them and it was GREAT! we got fried pork dumplings and the pork summer rolls ..DELICIOUS! We have a 5 year old and he loved the dumplings we also got the beef special combination for main course and it was just as good as the reviews said it would be 😊 the broth was so flavorful you didn’t need any extras and the portions of meat were great I even had some left over. Today they had 10% of everything in the menu so we spent about $32 but of course we tipped the great servers so we spent about $45 in total the restaurant was clean and very nice the young man and lady who served were very polite friendly and attentive I would definitely recommend this establishment for your pho cravings if you are in the NRG...

First time here, nice establishment however as I was ordering my food DINE IN the waiter walked away after I asked him the sizes of the pho bowls. He then went back to the register to serve other customers without even answering my question…or coming back, which was extremely rude & disappointed that this is the service I was offered. Mind you i was the only black customer in the establishment at the time.

So after my order was only PARTIALLY taken, I went tot he register to ask a second waiter & he was very nonchalant along with a piece of apology. Shortly after having this conversation I decided to ultimately leave the establishment due to how disgusting & disappointing the service was.

I also saw the waitress bring the pho to customers, not change their gloves but touch & play...

Pho 5Plus is a true gem in the neighborhood! The standout element is Jonny's exceptional service – attentive, polite, and going above and beyond. The food is fantastic, authentically prepared with just the right level of spice. The pork skin on the bone is incredibly tender and delicious. The beef soup combination boasts large, juicy pieces, and the flavorful coffee is a delightful addition. Tonight's experience was not just a meal but a flavorful journey. I'm already planning my next visit to explore more items on the menu. Can't wait to be back! One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the neighborhood, highly recommended

Stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner before heading off to a soccer match at NRG Center. The grilled pork vermicelli bowl was delicious. It included 2 fried egg rolls, which were amazingly crispy and not soggy as I have had in other restaurants. The pork itself was flavorful and not chewy. The Thai tea was made to order, I prefer it on a less sweet side, and the portion size was more than enough. Overall, it was a great place to eat. I would recommend it to anyone who lives or works around the medical center.
