Riley's Donuts 2 — Restaurant in Houston

[Updated] After finding a few other quaint and small shops, this place has lost it's appeal to me. 3 stars is not bad, at all--despite what people may think, 3 stars is a recommendation. However, the prices and location are detrimental. The rise in popularity has made it.. rough to access. And, everytime that I last went (which was a few weeks or months apart) the prices are.. a bit much. Sure, the quality is damn good. Their special selection of exotic sweets is top level. However, the price though. The price. It's a bit too much for me to recommend very highly. It's a nice place. Great even, all things considered. However, competitive pricing is not one of them: perhaps the drive-thru and increase in staff has much to do with it. I recommend going here at least once, twice, maybe more. I can't recommend it being your designated shop though due to just how flagrant the prices have got. It hurts because this store and Riley's Clear-Lake used to be my favorite. If you're a commuter, or have time to walk from the transit hub right near by, check this place...

I recently stopped at Riley’s, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. I was genuinely impressed by the variety on the menu, and everything we ordered came out quickly and perfectly cooked.

What made the experience even better was the service. The staff was not only friendly and attentive, but they also made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

I had a bit of a panic moment when I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. However, the team at Riley’s was incredibly understanding and allowed me to pay later. This level of customer service truly goes above and beyond and made me feel valued as a customer.

Overall, I highly recommend Riley’s if you’re looking for great food, quick service, and a staff that genuinely cares about...

By far the SLOWEST WORKERS I HAVE EVER SEEN... came in here 3 days in a row, but looks like the walking dead in there. I left twice because they have have zero consideration for people's times. Especially when they are NOT busy and there are only 1 plus yourself in there. And they don't apologize or anything for taking 20 minutes to get out. Kolaches are decent and actually has ham and Swiss type of kolaches. But the whole reason for 2 stars is their insulting slow service.
