Sharetea — Restaurant in Houston

Yesterday afternoon after going through the menu and not seeing a strawberry shake I asked the employee if they had strawberry SHAKES and she said yes so we ordered two of those and one coffee with 50% sweetness. We live two minutes away and the “shakes” were separating while we were still in the car. Because they were indeed not shakes when we tried them at home. They’re were slushies and we didn’t ask for slushies. They tasted so watered down that not even our seven year old liked it and they both ended up in the trash. The coffee drink I got myself less sweet so I could taste the coffee and I couldn’t. It tasted like water. That’s how watered down the coffee that they had there was. Honestly SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I wanted to like this place but did not have a good experience. I asked for reduced sugar in my drink and it was overly sweet (tasted like over 100% sugar level). They also put my iced drink in an opaque cup with an opaque plastic film on top, which was the first time I have ever experienced such a practice with boba. There was no way for me to tell if the drink was well mixed, what was in it, if it actually had “less ice” as requested, etc unless I ripped the top off which I wasn’t going to do because I was on the go. They also don’t indicate on their menu which items have dairy so you have to ask about every single one. I’m so excited that they finally opened up. I’ve been waiting for a Sharetea in this area and I’m so glad it’s here now. Everyone there is really sweet and they offer a large selection of drinks, so there’s something for everyone to choose. All the teas are really good! The baristas do a great job making the drinks and are great with helping you make a selection and recommendations. They have lots of open seating inside and I noticed some board games, so I think they might be adding those for customers to play with. I can really see this place growing and becoming busier in the future! Definitely one of my new frequent stops since I’m often in the area. I can’t wait to come back here...
