I usually really enjoy coming to this Smoothie King! The smoothies and bowls are always made so well — I especially love how creamy and consistent they usually are. But today, I was honestly disappointed. I ordered my usual custom smoothie (Greek Yogurt Strawberry Blueberry with almond milk, banana, and peanut butter), which is normally thick, filling, and perfectly blended.
Unfortunately, this time it came out very watery and thin — not the thick, smoothie-like consistency I’ve come to expect. There were two girls working today, and I’m not sure what went wrong, but the quality just didn’t feel the same. It almost tasted like something was left out or too much liquid was added.
I was honestly so upset — I hadn’t eaten all day, and I was really looking forward to that smoothie. I was on my way to work, so I couldn’t even go back or ask them to remake it. I literally had to put it in the freezer at my job just to get it cold and try to thicken it up, which I’ve never had to do before. It made me genuinely sad because it’s something small, but when you’re hungry and counting on it, it really matters.
I truly appreciate this location and how great my smoothie usually turns out, but I just wanted to share this experience in hopes it helps the team be more mindful. These are the little details that make a big difference, especially for customers who don’t have time to go back or speak up. Read moreYulissa was extremely rude, cocky attitude, argumentative and aggressive. We had placed an order and asked for a specific request. She refused to take care of our specific request. She had said that if we don't like it, we can leave. They are all done one way only there's only one RECIPE. She then became argumentative , loud and aggressive in front of other customers and caused a big scene. Then instead of taking care of our specific order. She then decided to not do the order and give back the money. All we wanted was to get our smoothies a specific way. Then the arguing still continued. She said the customer is not right. She then refused to give us our money back, so we didn't get out smoothies plus we got charged for smoothies that we didn't get. Poorly handled situation by this Employee. Very Poor, Poor customer service. We had been going there for years without any problems at all. The other employees left actually knew how to take care and please the customer. And now we will no longer go...
Read moreDO NOT go to this location. I’ve been coming here weekly for 2 years. I probably spend $150-$200 a month on smoothies solely at this location. It was always pleasant until recently. This location has an entirely new staff as of February 2022 and it has been the absolute worst transition I’ve come across. Today, the cashier (named Brenda) was abhorrent. She was utterly disrespectful and refused to serve me because I asked her to not refer to me as “love” and “honey.” This refusal came after she charged me for the smoothies. She even dropped the F bomb. What a trashy human being!
After requesting to speak to a manager multiple times, I was finally provided the managers number and I called only to be hung up on after requesting multiple times that the manager check the camera footage and retrain her employees.
I would like the owner of this establishment to contact me. Terrible...
