0 stars! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS for my experience today! 6/29/25 at 12:07 pm I WOULD! I come to this location almost every other day, with absolutely no problems, seems as though everyone treats you & handles you with care, BUT TODAY!!!!! Absolutely not! The WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT ANY STARBUCKS LOCATIONS EVER IN MY LIFE! The Chinese/vietnamese/asian LGBTQ MALE was VERY RUDE! I AM ALSO APART OF THE LGBTQ community, had a SWELL time for pride the night PRIOR, which brought me to Starbucks today for a good HOT TEA! So no there’s no HOMO slander. He comes off EXTREMELY attitude-ish and sarcastic like, making you feel unwelcomed and UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I pulled up to the speaker box to order, yes as soon as I pulled up to the box I was finishing a sentence because I was otp with my mother. Asked her to hold. So I can place my order, So I’m sure he heard that… I said hello TWICE to the speaker and no one said a thing. I immediately thought and said aloud “dang are they closed” still heard NOTHING! So I pulled up to the window. As anyone else would. I pulled up to the window, NOT ONE CAR was there. I was met by the with the most sarcastic “idc” face. He said “you didn’t hear me” I said “No, I said hello twice and no one said anything.” Usually I hear everyone else LOUD & CLEAR! It was almost like he was being “funny” & “sarcastic” like. He then asked what I wanted to order, I told him, then after taking my order He says, “And next time you need to talk to me through the speaker.” I said “ Well next you need to actually say something through the speaker, I said hello twice , said something before I pulled up and you said NOTHING.” Like …. Who is he talking to? Is he ok? Did he get paid? Woke up on the wrong side of the bed? What’s wrong with this guy? It was almost like when he was met with the SAME attitude he was giving off, he seem to want to push back his rudeness. Not everyone is going to let you speak to them in that manner. An employee was watching our interaction. Then he says “My manager said you can pull off and leave!” With the UPMOST SARCASTIC SMIRK, like he done won the battle or something, glad he was telling me to pull away, AFTER taking my order, THEN proceeding to STILL say something smart to me, like he wanted to have the last word. I said excuse me? He says “yea, she said you can leave” I asked to speak with her, she comes to the window ( NOT EVEN A MANAGER ) HA! There was NO manager on duty! Her name was Koya. She seems to come off assertive at first. I asked if he was being rude, and I was defending myself giving him the same energy back, then why are you telling me to leave!? After constant back and forth to get to the bottom of why he ignored me at the speaker she tried to say “maybe you didn’t hear because you were on the phone.” Now she trying to be funny. I’m not blasting music, it is a phone call that you over heard, BECAUSE I pulled up already talking. No where on earth when ANYONE is talking whether it’s to someone already IN THE CAR or OTP stops anyone’s HEARING , from hearing someone on THE SPEAKER BOX TO PLACE AN ORDER. I then asked her, I know you have CarPlay in your car, so you mean to tell me, when you stick your head out the window to place an order you can’t hear anyone because there someone actively otp that’s waiting for you to finish placing your order? She then again went around every question I asked, because she then too agreed that I was not in the wrong, and ALSO stated that he ( GIVES EVERYONE ATTITUDE ) EXCUSE ME ?? So I’m supposed to be ok with him being rude and sarcastic to me, because that’s how he is with his peers? ABSOLUTELY NOT! She took my order and told me to spin around to prepare it, to get everyone’s behind me orders ready. I spun around, explaining what happened to my mom once again when I pulled up to the speaker, and he spoke on the speaker that time! I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service I received at this Starbucks location. On a recent visit June 3rd at 12:50PM while waiting for my car to be repaired & seeking refuge from the heat, I encountered an exceptionally unprofessional and hostile environment.
Several employees behind the counter were openly laughing and joking at the expense of customers. This behavior alone is highly inappropriate for a professional setting. However, the situation escalated when I was harassed for not making a purchase within 5 minutes upon entering. It's important to note that the store was not busy at the time, And I can guarantee you without a doubt that I was the only one called out and approached regarding this issue.
The staff seemed to prejudge my situation, acting with a complete lack of professionalism and integrity, reminiscent of immature high school students rather than trained customer service representatives. Had they simply inquired or shown any concern, they would have learned that my wallet had been stolen the previous day, and I was attempting to manage a stressful situation in what I hoped would be a calm environment. Instead, their actions significantly amplified my stress.
This experience falls far short of the standards I associate with Starbucks. While the brand typically upholds a higher caliber of service, it appears that the lack of professional maturity among certain staff members can create a chaotic and stressful atmosphere for patrons.
I was able to identify three individuals working behind the counter: Candence and Isabel. When I attempted to speak with a manager, I was informed that the manager, Irene, was too busy to address my concerns. Read moreAlways used to come to this location via mobile app orders. Never had an issue. Seemed to have got it together. I’m a patient and understanding person but yesterday was theeee worst experience I’ve had here Starbucks. Got here 10min prior to my mobile time saying it would be ready. Waited about 15min after seeing how there was about 15-20people now all waiting in the lobby for mobile app orders, I asked what was the hold up or mine was ready, 2 baristas came up, asked me what I needed —proceed to each go to the drive through ready orders and never came back to follow up, the 3rd one— same, but told me they were working on orders placed ONE HOUR AGO. I asked, is there a chance or are they working on them as the orders come through or will they tend to the customers in here filled with awaiting their mobile orders (mind you the ENTIRE time I was here, NO mobile orders were ever placed on that counter, even as the crowd got larger), she said no, we print the sticker/order and go through. As I was talking to her a customer whom was already sitting before anyone in the crowd arrived, walked out screaming “IVE BEEN WAITING 25min for an order!! I DONT WANT IT, this is ridiculous!!!!” I asked her what are they going to do for everyone, refund or something bc we’re all waiting for the same issue. She said “she couldn’t do anything”. I walked out peacefully knowing they weren’t going to do sh**. I waited 25-30min for a drink I never got. I’ll continue to go to my regular Starbucks off memorial and hwy6. All I see are recent bad reviews, that should say something! I took this to corporate too. Meanwhile, the drive through was flowing like normal. The line would get mid long but was flowing fast.
