On April 24th, 2025 on Subway #22307, the one on 6888 Gulf Freeway I had the worst Subway experience. We went to order and firstly I wanted to see how the tuna looked (too dry or too soaked in mayo). The lady employee with a long face told me that I couldn't see it. That it came prepared already. Then I decided for a footlong sandwich and told her that I wanted toasted with the veggies. I had only asked for tomatoes, jpenos, extra onion and bell pepper. Literally, she counted the onions and bell peppers the 3 times I asked her. When I told her again to please put extra she said she would charge me. I asked her since when does Subway charge. I'm aware of the extra for meat, cheese and avocado but for veggies? At this point I was đĄ more than anything with the employee's attitude. When my husband ft sandwich was ready and had asked her any recommendation on what sauce/dressing would go there, she bluntly replied "its on the menu". Like really? we weren't going to get these for free. When asked her if she could call the manager she replied, she was the manager. When asked for her name she told me why, why i wanted it for (btw none of ladies had their name tags on). I said ok, then proceeded to take a photo of my sandwich and her. Then she started saying that why I was doing that that she had to charge me for extra veggies. At this point I was annoyed and told her that I had worked for Subway and that I knew Subway didn't charge for extra veggies. I would go to different Subway all around Texas and have never come upon this kind of issue, not to mention customer service. This lady 'manager' has no customer service whatsoever. For sure won't go back to this Subway ever again. SUBWAY is NOT at all what used to be. If what the employee said its true, that means its the franchisee owner that wants to charge for veggies OR the manager is charging extra and she gets that money. I just can't believe the owner is willing to lose a loyal customer over some extra onion and bell peppers. I didn't even ask for the rest of the veggies. I just wanted extra of these two, joenos, tomatoes and in the end cucumbers. By this point, we were so disappointed that my husband and I just left. Never going back. If I could I would've put...
   Read moreWow!!! I can't begin to explain how special I feel every time I walk into this Subway and I greeted with a smile by 2 employees that work there. I go there frequently as my school is near there, and I refuse to go anywhere else for lunch. I have become a regular and as a result the employees that work there have remembered that I always order the same thing. They have even remembered in which order I get the veggies! These two ladies put a smile on my face even when I'm having a bad day at school. I hope Ms. Adelina and her coworker that is on the same shift get a raise or promotion because they always are respectful toward the customers and always have a smile on their face even when difficult customers give them a hard time. I hope the company realizes they they truly are an asset and are giving Subway a great image. I have even recommended that Subway specifically to friends and family because of the outstanding...
   Read moreItâs Wednesday which is Meatball Marinara Sub of the day. As Iâm about to check out, the employee tells me itâs $15.03 when the sub of the day combo is $10.81. I told him itâs Wednesday and this is the special, the kid employee tried to brush it off by saying, âoh itâs because thatâs for the 6in.â I told him itâs on the display that footlong is $3.00 up charge. Finally all he said was, âwell thatâs what the system is pulling up the total as, $15.03â I declined and left the store.
Iâm not upset at the kid, I am more upset with the lack of training. Iâm sure someone there could override the system to make the correction, but the whole interaction went sour. This is just unfortunate, Jersey Mikes has won my business...
