Tacos Mayra — Restaurant in Houston

Been eating at this taco truck since 2006 my family and I. Today will be the last day. The last couple of times haven’t been so good. The last time before today i went the tortillas were over cooked and they only put a little meat. Today i ordered 6 tacos and they only gave me 2 salsas. I usually get a salsa per taco, free because i already paid for the tacos! Today the owner and his workers tried to charge me $1.50 for extra salsa because they said they were running low. That’s messed up, why and how y’all gone charge somebody for extra salsa that they don’t ever pay extra for?! Had i known they were doing that i wouldn’t have ordered there at all tonight. The food is good! But when you have poor/NO customer service I will not be a continuous supporter of your business and u can’t even take care of me and I’ve been eating here since 2006. Eating there every month sometimes every other week. I’m done. He is money hungry and don’t care about his customers only his money. I first came here over 10 years ago to try their tacos de tripa. I didn't like tacos de tripa but after trying their tacos I changed my mind. Their tripas were crispy and delicious. Fast forward to 2025. I was driving by and decided to stop to get some tacos and see if Tacos Mayra still had it. I didn't get the tacos de tripa but I did get the classic taco de fajita and tacos al pastor. I wasn't able to eat them until I got home which was 40 mins away so that affected the quality. My favorite taco truck! I come here at least twice a week because the tacos are so good and the curtido. All the ingredients are always fresh. Usually there's not a long wait unless they are crazy busy. High quality authentic Street tacos. They don't get no better than this. And I'm really picky, some trucks you go to sometimes the tacos are a little dry.
