First of all, this is not a Mexican restaurant. It’s a centroamericano restaurant. The name implies Mexican food from Jalisco. The menu includes Central America foods. Their salsa is not Mexican salsa, it’s watered down and runny red salsa that tastes like tomatoes and is not spicy at all. Walked in and nothing but loud merengue music. We had to ask for Mexican music. They’ve got sombreros hung up on the walls but nothing is Mexican about this place. Not even the employees or owner. We asked for breakfast plate-huevos rancheros and got plantains and some white hard cheese crumbled over the beans that we thought was crumbled Mexican queso fresco, but it was some hard foul tasting crumbled cheese that tasted like it had gone bad. Read moreService Excellence and the Food is delicious. Been here for lunch during the day and everything was exquisite. Came back with less than an hour before they closed about month later and the Service and food was consistent and then some equal to our first experience. We were not rushed or given any kind of "hurry up-I can't believe you walked in here this late" attitude.
It was quite the opposite and I wish all the best to this establishment as they earn new business and maintain existing business with consistency, service excellence and the type of craving quality food we received....
