Been here a few times. Their Adeni chai always tastes great and they adjust the sweetness to your level. They also offer a variety of pastries, dessert, and light snack such as mini pizzas. I also tried their Dubai chocolate.
The kunafa filling inside was good but the chocolate exterior is way too hard usually. The refrigerator they keep it in hardens it too much so you have to wait till it warms up a bit to be able to eat it without breaking a tooth lol. I’d probably rate it a six out of ten. Not the best Dubai chocolate and also not the worst.
Their chai never misses though. Always amazing each time, the pastry’s and desserts are good half the time and average the other half.
Nice cozy vibes and spacious place to study. Good WiFi strength if you need to wfh ad well. Noise level is also very low usually, and it isn’t packed much on the weekends. It does get really chilly though so layer up if you get cold easily.
Overall great place to grab your chai fix and/nice, quiet, and spacious area to group/self study or work. Highly recommend checking it out and trying...
Read moreI visited this coffee shop hoping for a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. It became apparent that the baristas showed clear preferential treatment toward patrons who shared their cultural background. While it's important for any business to celebrate diversity, no customer should feel overlooked or second-rate based on how they look.
During my visit, a group came in and disrupted the calm environment, crowding the seating area and being generally disrespectful. Instead of addressing the issue or maintaining a balanced and fair atmosphere for all guests, the staff chose to cater to them—largely, it seemed, because they "looked like" the team behind the counter.
This kind of bias—whether conscious or not—is disheartening in a place meant to bring people together. I strongly advise others to consider supporting establishments that value hospitality and fairness for all, not just for those who fit a certain mold.
And the chai and coffee was below average...
Read moreThere are some coffee shops that have good coffee. There are some coffee shops that have good seating areas and feel good to spend time in. This place has both.
The staff are kind and will give you the time of day to learn about Yemeni coffee, which is delicious and has new flavor profiles if you've never had it before. The pastries seem good- I tried the honeycomb bread which was fantastic. If you stay in, they'll serve up your coffee and pastries on a nice tray.
The music is nice but not too loud. There is more than ample seating. Outlets seem to be a bit scarce but there's nice table seating to spread out or meet with a group. WiFi is available so this could be a decent spot to work if you aren't concerned...
