Read moreI started going to Oxigyn gym back in July of 2022 for personal training sessions with Ro (Jarrod). The facility is intimate, no need to feel overwhelmed by everything. The staff is family oriented always speaking, helping; giving pointers or correcting your form if they see you doing something incorrectly and cheering you on. Very positive motivational group of people. Everyone that’s there , whether they are just working out or trainers, has the same mindset. To progress, to put in work, to try, to self improve. Can’t ask for a better group of people to be around, while working on your self improvement.
Now, the music is always a vibe! You might just breakout singing and have others join in or taking dance breaks in between sets. This was my first time ever going to an outdoor/indoor type of gym. I think it gives both benefits that working outside does but also (inside benefits) protection from weather and enough gym equipment to train every muscle group you can think of. I’ve been going there a min and still haven’t tried all the different machines. And they’ve even added more equipment and perks. Don’t believe me go check it out for yourself!
Honorable Mention: Ro also has FREE Bootcamp trainings for those looking to get started or those who like group sessions. And the trainers at Oxigyn also Hosts different fitness focused bootcamps at Oxigyn (they also support their events outside of oxigyn [they lowkey wanna be family members so bad lol]). Last bootcamp I went to was 90s vs 2000s! So much fun but a workout! 🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽 I’ve been going to Ro bootcamps and doing PT for over a year now.. Let’s just say the Results are RESULTING Lmaoo. Check him out/follow him on ig @roeffect @bigrolla It’s something for everyone , no matter your experience, schedule or goal!...

I had my first (and last) experience at Oxigyn Fitness on 1/25/25, with me arriving at about 9:30 am for the 10 am Oxi Burn Bootcamp class that was posted on Eventbrite. As soon as I walked in, I was met with a very strong smell of marijuana filling the lobby. This was not only repulsive but also HIGHLY unprofessional for a fitness facility.
On top of that, the Eventbrite ad clearly stated that your first time attending the class was free, but when I produced this ad, the gentleman at the front desk said it was a mistake they’d been trying to fix with eventbrite for weeks. He explained they’ve already taken a loss, for weeks, letting people in for free with this ad and couldn’t keep doing so. While I understand businesses need to make money, the ad should have been completely removed if it was incorrect and unable to be fixed. I replied to him that not honoring the ad is deceptive. This was a HORRIBLE first impression and makes this business seem very untrustworthy.
Although the gentleman at the front desk acknowledged the ad and attempted to offer other incentives, none of them matched what was advertised. The right thing to do would have been to honor the ad. Ultimately, I declined the class because of multiple factors in this first impression.
Between the offensive marijuana smell filling the lobby and the failure to honor their own posted promotion via eventbrite, this was a terrible first experience. I DO NOT...
