Tropical Refresqueria — Restaurant in Houston

The first time me and my sister went there we found the food was a little different and pricey but ok. For th strawberry and cream they use a whip cream or cool whip sort of thing. This second time that I went i ordered a bionico, magonada preparada, fresas con crema, and elote preparado. The mangonada was watery and The more I drank out of it the more watered down it Tasted. I ended up not drinking it. The tamarindo stick was hard and chewy on both ocasions. I also feel like bionico Could have some more yogurt or cream. The fresas and elote were fine. I’ve frequent this place some years ago. It was decent. Snow cones are very watered down. I ordered cheese and chili with hot Cheetos and I hardly seen a drop of chili in the Cheetos, sad thing is I was over charged because they raised the price and didn’t tell me. However I let them keep the change. The next visit ordered two Snow comes for my little 5 year olds and was given one napkin and I asked for more and was given 1 more and was told by the older gentleman, that’s it. Now if your trying to cut down prices, you’ll certainly loose Customers when you’re not being courteous. We are all trying to make It out here. We decided to venture off and try a new spot for elotes and chamoyadas. We were very disappointed. I'm not sure how you can mess up elotes, but they did. All 4 of ours tasted terrible. The chamoyadas were a joke. Don't waste your time. The service is great but pretty slow. The area is well lit and nicer than some other stands. Hopefully, their other selections on the menu are much better. I suggest trying...
