Chick-Fil-A is known for there all around great customer service customer service, right? Going above and beyond, right? I donât know about you but every Chick-Fil-A that I have ever been to I have just been so amazed. Today however, this location did NOT leave that impression. Now I typically like to give people the benefit of the doubt especially because people could just be having a bad day or whatever the case may be. I walked in after realizing that I didnât want to go through the drive through and that I probably had enough time before going back to work. There was nobody waiting in line, after about 30 seconds or so a cashier asked how can I help you. He was a older man and his name tag said Mike. He looked like he could be in a management position. (I would not agree with that after my experience) I replied to him and said Iâll have the spicy chicken meal, and he asked what size, I said large. He asked fries too and I said yes. I then said how much mode would it be to add the Chick-Fil-A nuggets as an entree? He said your total would be $12 and some change. I didnât want to spend more than $10 because I only had a Chick-Fil-A gift card on me so I said then itâs okay never mind. He said okay and that my total was $12 something and I said I thought that was with the nuggets and he said yeah thatâs what you wanted and I started to say oh no but he cut me off and started tapping on his order screen really hard (I assume to take off the nuggets) he then said there with a bothered tone and said your total is 8 something. I got out my gift card shocked because of how rude he was and how he wasnât even trying to hide it. He wouldnât even look me in the eye. When I didnât know wether he was going to scan my card or have my swipe or I asked do I need to swipe it and he said yeah. At this point I am upset because this is NOT the experience I came for. As I sat down and waited for my food someone said my name and he said to his co worker holding my food âshe there and pointed at me up until I grabbed the food.... i typically do not like to write reviews if anything I prefer to leave good ones but my experience today was TERRIBLE. I will not be coming here again. Even if it means driving further I will go to another Chick-Fil-A with better service. Horrible, horrible service by the window people and then their lead/supervisor on shift. They kept telling me they couldnât give me my sandwich because my payment hadnât gone through. They said theyâd run it again, I got authorized over three times and even loaded my chick fil a app, but they refused to scan it saying âbecause it was a mobile orderâ they couldnât take a other method of payment. At one point even, she suggested we cancel the Order and make a new one, when I asked her to do this she refused to because I would be paying with my app. Like why would I give them another form of payment when theyâve already hit me multiple times?! At this point I just want my sandwich because nothing you keep saying makes no sense. So after all this I have to go inside and place another order for a simple sandwich and still paid for it through my app. Like why ?! Just because you had a bad day and want to take it out on someone or flex your little supervisor powers and when your GM cancelled the order and gladly took the order and my method of payment which was mY app, the original form of payment. Nothing was wrong with my app. Your manager was able to easily do whatever you werenât able to. Itâs a shame people like this work in places like chick fil a, somewhere Thatâs known to be provide good customer service.
