If I ever go missing, check Brain Freeze first. Deanna and her team are the real reason my GPS keeps rerouting me back there like it’s a rescue mission for my soul (and sweet tooth).

Walked in for “just one scoop.” Left with a cone taller than my future and a smile so big I had to hold it with both hands. The ice cream? Creamy, dreamy, and possibly churned by angels. Prices? Let’s just say I paid less for my sundae than I did for a bottle of water at the gas station. That’s sorcery. Delicious, creamy sorcery.

Deanna, the mastermind behind this frozen wonderland, is the kind of person who probably gives ice cream to her enemies just to win them over. Her helpers were so friendly and upbeat, I thought I’d wandered into a Disney movie—minus the musical number (although I did hum while eating).

Bottom line: Brain Freeze is what would happen if Willy Wonka ditched the chocolate and focused on making the happiest ice cream shop on Earth. 10/10, will absolutely be back… once my taste buds forgive me for the cold snap.

P.S. Try the butter Pecan. You’ll get misty-eyed....

Used to come here about twice weekly every summer. We always brought a gang and were tickled to offer our friends with diabetes my favorite no sugar added caramel cashew. Last year towards the end they didn’t have my No sugar added flavor and no other low sugar option. This year is the same problem. The scoopers have said they don’t know why it doesn’t get ordered because lots of people love it. I don’t know why with so many flavors there can’t be at least one low sugar or no sugar added flavor to accommodate. UPDATE…. The owner reached out to me with a lovely note and let me know that it is a supplier issue regarding the no sugar added options. She also let me know that she will educate her employees on the issue of the supplier problem. She also directed me to their Facebook page where I can check on the status of the flavors. I have changed this review from one star to five stars because this is the kind of five star service that only really excellent...

Walking in you would have thought business as usual. This was not the case after standing in line placing what we( party of 5) wanted and then getting to the register. We found out it's cash-only. Looking at the door sure enough, on the bottom 1/3 of the door was the ONLY sign stating cash-only next to that sign it stated "Buy one get half off Mother's" for mothers. In today's age maybe more than a few signs say cash-only. With as busy as it was, maybe one of the nice ladies instructed everyone placing an order that it is cash-only in case the sign or signs were missed. No one minds paying cash, not too many carry cash anymore. Also please make sure the employees checking customers out, know what's going on. Never receive half of mom's order and make sure they understand 2+2 and then half off the ones needing the discount. Other than then that the line kept moving and everyone seemed happy...
