2nd Review: July 8, 2022 (4 Stars)
After posting my first review, the owner reached out directly to me and was deeply apologetic and asked us to give them another try. We agreed and showed up randomly and grabbed dinner tonight. I was very happily surprised, it was just like the Townline I remember.
Our waitress was an older gal who was amazing at her craft. She was fun, attentive, joked around with my kids, and was just overall a pleasure to be around. Our food was delicious and hot, the only downside was that the kitchen forgot my side so that's the only reason for 4/5 stars.
THIS is the Townline that I remember.

This is one of those reviews I hate to write. My family and I used to be regulars at Townline for years until we moved out of the area. Prior to 2018, I would have consistently rated Townline 5/5 stars.
Unfortunately, something has gone very wrong at Townline since then. Stopped in today at 4:30pm with my family to grab dinner. Our order was put in at 4:45pm. We noticed the place was dead - only about three other tables seated and all the other seating areas were closed off with signs. We had never seen the place so empty before, especially on a weekend.
Kids started getting antsy around 5:30pm when we noticed that three other tables that came after us had started receiving their food. By 5:45pm, I was pretty upset when a fourth table that arrived at 5:15pm received their meal and we still had not received anything nor had anyone even talked to us. At 6:10pm I was finally fed up and asked to speak to the manager so we could pay for our drink tickets and leave.
No Manager ever came out, but the food arrived at 6:15pm. I guess I should have expected things to be wrong. My mothers Chili was cold, my burger was luke-warm and the bun was stale and burnt, my wife's BLT literally fell apart in her hands - they had buttered but not toasted it, my daughter's chicken tenders were undercooked and chewy. The entire meal was a disaster. The bill was nearly $100 and I regret every penny of it.
Truly a pathetic and miserable experience. I now see why Anduzzi's, Culver's, Zesty's, and the other restaurants in the area were packed but...
Read moreUsed to be a spot I would go to all the time. The food is good, I cannot complain about the food but the treatment I received last time from the staff was so out of line that I felt compelled to write something. This is also not concerning the staff in general but rather one disturbed individual. His name is Todd, he said he had been working there for 13 years but during his rant, he lied to me about being a manager, blamed me for my order being wrong and the thing is, I order the same thing every time. I have never had a staff member at an establishment yell at me before, create a scene, this weirdo was beyond rude, I thought the guy was going to try to fight, for real he is crazy. This all happened because of a screwed up order, and I get it, mistakes happen, I used to work in a restaurant, so I know how it goes. I do not blame them for the mistake and again their food is good, but this guy absolutely lost it during a non busy lunch hour. If I worked there, I would be ashamed of him his actions were beyond unreasonable, that individual needs some help and should not be allowed to interact with the public. Please someone who works here call me when Todd is no longer allowed on...
Read moreArrived on a Monday around 7pm. It was a group of 4 adults and a toddler. They had a $1 burger special and we were looking for a quick bite to eat since it was a busy day. Ordered our drinks (all sodas, nothing from the bar.) Took 10 minutes to just get drinks to our table. For perspective there were about 5 tables and maybe 7 people at the bar. We finally ordered our food after it took awhile to get drinks. 3 of us got the special burgers and 2 got sandwiches off the menu. It took 40 minutes to cook 7 quarter pound burgers and 2 roast beef sandwiches.... not to mention the fact that after the sandwiches made it to the table we were informed that there would be a "couple minutes" to wait for the fries. I didn't know that Townline had a slaughter house and potato farm in the kitchen because the only way to justify the long wait time was that they were butchering the cow fresh and harvesting the potatoes for the fries right there in house! Service was mediocre, she kept drinks filled as we waited out the kitchen for our food. Long story short, will...
