I just started working in this area a few months ago, but I have only had a hand-full of decent experiences from this location. I absolutely love Chipotle, and even with my low rating, I still end up fooling myself into, at least once a week, giving them a second/third/fourth chance to redeem themselves. My issues are usually: too much rice or salsa, not enough of the meat, not enough of the rice/salsa, and (i'm not over-reacting with this number) 100% of the time that I visit this location I have to ask them to re-wrap the burrito. Sometimes, they have to do it twice. Even if I ask them to re-wrap it once I am met with a quickly frustrated staff, whether or not the frustration is with me or themselves for not being able to wrap it properly, It still comes off as rather rude. It tends to be an awkward experience nonetheless. I rarely have these issues with other Chipotles. I'm not sure if this is one of those "training" restaurants or what, but it's so bad that i'm close to driving the extra miles to Streetsboro or Stow to try my luck. I suppose my advice is to have the senior staff/manager ask the customer if they would like the order to be re-wrapped, especially when the burrito's contents are obviously leaking through the wrapping, or spilling out when being put into the bag. I actually have a designated towel I keep in my trunk to use when I happen to go to this Chipotle location. I am finished with having to clean my seats/floor and spray them down so my car doesn't reek of rotten burrito after the bag rips from being saturated of juices because the burrito was ill-wrapped. I understand that new hires need to learn how to properly wrap the burritos, but the senior staff needs to be knowledgeable of the state in which there product is leaving the store, instead of quickly throwing the burrito into the bad in hopes that I, the customer, doesn't notice. If there is a problem, then fix it, don't ignore it and hope it'll just go away. I hope this location shapes up. I would much rather go to this location which is right down the road from where I work, rather driving an extra 15/20 minutes out of my way on my lunch break. sadly i am about to leave for lunch now. even after writing this complaint I still somehow convinced myself that it might be ok this time :) leaky burrito towel in hand! Read moreUpdate: I gave this location, a one star back about a year or two ago. The place was really falling apart. The staff was horrendous and they were always missing supplies. I am happy to say that I’ve been here a few times recently and they have a whole new crew that’s amazing. Friendly outgoing, chipper bright eyed. They’re not missing 1000 items if you walk in after 7 PM. Completely impressed with the turnaround of this place. I heard a new owner took it over. I’m not 100% sure about that but something definitely happened and they were able to get a great staff on board. I recommend this particular Chipotle again
I was in the parking lot at chipotle today. I was parked right next to a car that contained to chipotle employees and what look like the chipotle manager all getting high as a kite with marijuana in the parking lot in the car with the door open. The manager went back into Chipotle after he got high And another worker. I guess the last employee owned the car and was done working at 5:45 PM on Thursday, July 25 so he drove away high as a kite. This store has really gone downhill since it’s opening.
Up Date I had a catering order that I did online days before. It was supposed to be ready at 11:45 for pick up. I’m still sitting here waiting at 12:30 PM. When I asked a gentleman that works here if he knew how much longer it would be, he angrily said I don’t know. In addition, the last couple times I came here the rice was dry and not very tasty. This particular location is really going downhill. They never even took down all the chairs in the lobby.
There’s nothing worse than ordering your meal online. Paying someone to pick it up for you and deliver it to you only to open it up. Take a bite and find out it’s completely not what you ordered. Beyond irritating. I ordered Brown rice, black beans, sofrito (soy), cheese, sour cream, & lettuce. What I got was pork, guacamole, and peppers. Grrrr it was ordered online, so it was all written out easy to follow directions. The person that picked it up said they had a full crew there more people working than she had ever seen before. Read moreThis Chipotle in particular is awful! They are never staffed. And because of no staff, you have to order online. They get the order wrong 90% of the time. They are skimpy on the rice. (It's rice, not gold). Also the rice was hard in a few bites. Never had that happen before. Glad I didn't chip a tooth or choke! The Chips are always stale. The guacamole had onions the sice of dimes in it. And it just don't taste the same. Something has got to change in that place. I know I'm not the only one.
Another time I went in there, they were short staffed , so I had to order online. I had to go in there 3 times because my order was wrong. 1st time, I walk in to find a sign at the beginning of the line that read "online only". (Sign should have been on the entry door aswell) so I go in pick up my online placed order and seen no cup next to my order for the fountain beverage I also orded. (2nd time in) ,I asked for a cup. Staff said nothing to me, no apologies and placed cup on counter, As though I was the problem? I Get out to my car open the sealed bag and realize the cup was in the bag....why? 3rd time was because I ordered chips and there were none in my bag. Go back in. Get the chips and guess what? Stale!!! I wasn't going back in a forth time. So frustrating!!
I will no longer go to Hudson Chipotle, I will be giving my business to the Chipotles in the surrounding areas.
P.S. Please let Hudson know when its Chipotle is under new...
