Hooters — Restaurant in Humble

A beyond piss poor experience. The restaurant had 11 people at it's busiest time. It's boneless wing night so I placed my first order and it literally can't back in less than 3 minutes. Surprising but a great sign.

After no sign of the waitress to order halfway through my plate, I place my second order of wings and half off sliders when she shows up. I was already done with my plate and she apologies letting me know that she was eating. After 27 minutes of waiting for my refill of wings she brings back traditional wings. To my dismay I ask how this is even possible on boneless wing night. She proceeds to tell me that both boneless and traditional wings are what the special is set up for. This doesn't change the fact that I ordered boneless wings but instead of a debate that I can't wrong I just ask for my boneless wings.

Upon arrival of my second plate of wings I ask what is the cause for the long waits. She responds with idk, I'm surprised the first order came out so fast. Then says it's only like one cook in the back.

At this point I just smh and proceed to eat. After reaching for my water I realize there's no damn water in the cup. Of course the waitress is on the other end of the restaurant too busy eating with the rest of the girls to focus on her customers.

I typically check Yelp prior to visiting a restaurant but I decided not to this trip. As a result I have no one to blame but myself. Don't make the same mistake I did. Google must allow companies to pay for their reviews. No way this place should be rated 2 stars let...

Waited at the front for someone to assign me a table.. there were only about 10 occupied, less than 1/3 occupied. And I waited about 20 mins after waitresses looking at me while they waited on tables. Finally I get a table. I ask to try the garlic hab, btw is delishlious. I instead ordered my go to favorite the medium bone in wings (10) i told my waitress, for these she confirmed.. and off she went to grab my drink. Everything up to this point was a simple annoyance.. after getting my order, I get 10 fried naked wings, before I could even udder the word um.. (and I did) she was gone. And so I waited to tried and grab her attention.. nothing.. she scans right over me.. even the couple next to me made comments about it.. after waiting about 20 mins.. I figured what ever, I'll just eat these.. and so I did, wasn't until I was on wing number 8 of 10 and my drink long expired did she come and check on me. After I was done, and indicated as such by pushing my plate away and both hands in the air, finger tips touching, with elbows on the table waiting. 25 mins I was like this staring at the manager who was doing who knows what with another customer and walking around, because my waitress was no where to be seen.. suddenly, she comes out from behind like a ninja, and gives me my ticket.. I tipped appropriately and paied for my meal, but I will not be back to this location. If this was my first time, I would not have been back to the...

Wow. Where to even start. Ok, walked in, only 1/3 the restaurant was full. Monday night, light crowd, Perfect! Waited at the front check in, it was like I didn’t exist!!

For almost 7 minutes standing waiting to be seated. I was the only person at the front waiting at the reception.

No one said “hello” or “be right with you!”. At all. Nothing. For almost 7 minutes.

Then I finally get seated at a table. Wait almost 10 minutes, no server has come by to even take the drink order? No one has said “be right with you” or anything like that.

Ok, I go to the bar to try and get better service, the bartender was very nice, apologized, and informed me they were out of Smoked Wings, Blu Cheese, and Waffle Fries. Wow, the most popular items ? Really ? Ok no big deal, I settle for regular wings and ranch.

Approx 45 mins later, the food arrives. “Sorry but we are also out of Ranch”. Wait WHAT ? She did say sorry, but she didn’t offer any comps such as taking one of my drinks off the table, or the fries, something, anything. Again let me remind you only 1/3 the restaurant is full.

Also, a “regular” customer walked in, ordered AFTER me, and was served first. I get it, but why make it so obvious?

So weird !! Absolutely terrible experience. $50 on food and drinks and the only reason I stayed was because the Astros were playing.
