Shamrocks Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Humble

I would give ZERO stars if I could!!!! This place which is now apparently under “new management” has gone outrageously downhill!!! I could not BELIEVE how crappy the service and negative the atmosphere was!! This used to be a really awesome Irish bar with deep roots in the Humble community and I am extremely sad to say that all of the good memories we had are now tainted with the experience we had last night. The bar tender charges for doubles without having been ASKED to do so…and when confronted states he “can’t do anything about it” and proceeded to rant about how no one is tipping, he has bills to pay and it’s his only job…as if ANY of that is anyone else’s fault, but his own. Absolutely was just rude and down right disrespectful to us as customers charging us for something we did not ask for to obviously hike up the bill for the business I’m assuming. I can see why it was practically dead on a Saturday night. And I would definitely expect it to be out of business within the next year or so, if not less than. We will never be going back here again and are sharing our experience with our friends and family who also used to love this bar. Do not waste your time here!!! We both tipped him $20 each, since he obviously needed it…even AFTER the shit service we received because, we are decent people, after all…and then we got the hell out of there as fast as we could…that is the absolute last penny I or my friends will ever spend there again…Rest in Peace...

Terrible service from Deneicia on the evening of April 1, 2021. I had to ask her multiple times for a drink; she never once asked me if I wanted a refill, but spent plenty of time on her phone. When I asked Deneicia for a refill, she brought water instead of the coke I ordered. Had to remind her that I wanted a coke refill, not a water one. I told Deneicia I wanted a steak done medium well and she apparently thought I said well done.

I'm sure Shamrocks is a fine establishment judging from other reviews, but the service I received from Deneicia is the most terrible service ever.

All that comes on top of me waiting at least 40 minutes for a filete mignon. After I finished eating and asked for a carry out box, she looked at me and then looked away. Even one of the other customers here was taken back by her rudeness.

I would actually be willing to come back to Shamrocks because the food was good, but this woman's service was awful; wouldn't want Deneicia waiting on me again and if I were the owner,...

Sooo… they need to rename the place to Shamrocks Pub and No Grill. The menu you see with all the choices is no longer a thing. The plain menu printed from a $40 printer and laminated… with little option… that’s the one you want to look at. Staff is nice, and honest and upfront. It’s a shame the place has slid down-hill. Seems like it had a lot of potential. They do have a fairly decent drink selection, and the prices are fair as well. I won’t be back; this is one of those ‘too old for the young and and not enough for the experienced’ scenes. Oh.. and be prepared for a 3% service charge added to your bill. That’s weird. Never saw that anywhere else. For the $7 draft beer I had, it was only 21 cents, but there is thing called “principle”, and as a customer, getting charged a service fee and there is no mention of it anywhere or from anyone upfront… yeah… that’s shady AF.
