I’ve been a loyal customer at this Dunkin Donuts for about 4 years now. I hate that I have to write a negative comment about my experience today. I go to this location 5 times a week. The staff and owner knows who I am and knows what I order everyday. Yesterday, January 29, 2019 I order a medium hot coffee which is $2.15 on the app. Prior to me ordering my coffee I reloaded $10 onto my DD card. Needless to say I should have about $8 remaining on my DD card. I didn’t ask for a receipt because I don’t need one. When I checked my balance on my DD card this morning it was showing $3.13 remaining. At this point I’m a little confused as to why I only have $3 left. I checked my order history is showed that I purchased my coffee for $2.15, still confused. I then checked my transaction history of my DD card it showed that I had a purchased of $8.64. Yep still confused. I then called customer service. I was on hold for AN HOUR before the young lady to assist me. I explained to her what happened. She then said she was going to email the owner so I can get my money back. I said cool that’s not a problem. Here is where I ran into an issue. The owner contacted me about 20 minutes after I hung up with the customer service agent. I explained to him what happened he basically didn’t believe me and wanted me to show proof tomorrow morning. At this point I’m getting very agitated especially since I’m a loyal customer and never have a bad experience. He then tried to tell me to contact customer service. I asked him how did you get my number to contact me about a transaction error. He said well someone from the company emailed. I then said well obviously I already contacted customer service so I need you to give me my money. That’s when the owner lost his damn mind. He started raising his voice, being rude, talking over me, and etc. After I told him I’m taking my business elsewhere that’s when he very rudely said he will refund me my money tomorrow. Seriously sir this how you do business??? This is how you treat/talk to people??? Keep this in mind this is the first time that I had a bad experience. I felt like the owner should just take my word and give me my money back without any questions asked, instead he needs to see “proof” after the very first incident. Read moreTHE WORST DD AND THE WORST OWNER/MANAGEMENT EVER. I never leave reviews good or bad. But Huntersville deserves a better DD for sure. Arrogance, disrespect, hard headed owner/manager. Worst customer service. Unbelievable. I have been a regular customer for over two years, for six months I try to explain myself over and over again just because I ask for my coffee to be LIGHT and SWEET! They do not get it they do not want to hear me saying it as if it is French! The manager insisted for many months to call it Extra Cream/Extra Sugar, until they finally accepted the WEIRD terminology called Light and Sweet!! Then for me to ask for my bagel to be cut in half, Oh that is a big NO, first we do not do that, then call it cut it in 4 pieces and so on, everyday an argument as if He is from a different world "HE IS". Not only that, but after all these arguments, they still mess up the orders, of course because the Manager is so rude and full of himself, thinking himself is managing a nuclear power station not a a little coffee shop. All this time, and I was very patient. Until, all of a sudden, My bagel with butter became an issue, he decided that I have to tell them to make my bagel with NON-Spread butter and if I don't they have to ask whether I want non-spread butter on it or real butter on the side!! What in the world is wrong with this guy?? Even he knows me and knows how I like my bagel "I go there everyday", he still wants to hear it!!! This is truly sad, for whoever has saved some money to open a business and ruin a BRAND for the whole area. I love DD, but there is no way I am going back to this franchise. Read moreFirst off the young lady taking my order was a bit rude & not a good listener because when I got to the window my order was wrong. Then we got all the way home to eat the donuts and there's a long hair in my donut. Then when I call to complain I speak with a supervisor cuz they advise me there's no management on-duty.I advised the young lady that there was a hair in my doughnut and instead of her apologizing and inquiring further she rudely ask did i want another doughnut or did I want my money back.. I told her no... and that I would not probably be back and that I suggest that her and the staff wear hair nets... that's when she wants to argue with me about who cooks the donuts and that no one on her shift cook the donuts.. Excuse me..... that's was so irrelevant to what I was suggesting... why she decided to argue with me I don't know. I feel that it was very very poor customer service and I know I most definitely will not be back to this Dunkin Donuts!!!
