I had a personally terrible customer service experience here with my parents, sadly when we came in with the intent to wedding dress shop.
The bridal section is very much apart of the regular store, where it seems like you can peruse the bridal jewelry, dresses, shoes, etc just as much as you can the regular clothing throughout the store. This is not the case, as the employee assisting another customer in the bridal section told us we needed an appointment to try on dresses (nothing wrong with that part - every bride should have a special private experience!) but the way it was said was dismissive and demeaning.
Still, no major problem - I said Iāll just take a look at the dresses and if thereās something Iād like to try on Iām happy to come back at a different time with an appointment. The employee didnāt seem happy with that for some reason but went back to her client - who was in a totally separate section that we were not disturbing at all.
While I looked at dresses, my mom found some beautiful shoes and jewelry from the bridal section that she wanted to buy as mother-of-the-bride and sat down to look at them properly. The same employee came over to her - sitting in a completely separate section no where near any other customer - and told her she needed to move in a very rude way and that this was the BRIDAL section and she needed to go find somewhere else to sit in the regular store areaā¦.even though my poor mom wanted to buy wedding accessories.
This left my mom, who - again - was sitting alone in an unused corner looking to spend money at this establishment for her daughterās wedding, feeling embarrassed and confused.
We were obviously not wanted there. Which was odd, considering the ābridal portionā of the store is open plan format just as the rest of the store.
My issue with this isnāt really the employee, I think she had must have it hard always trying to shoo people away from her section. But if Anthropologie is going to smash together two entirely different store concepts under one storefront then treat customers who come in as brides with distain, they have seriously missed the mark.
It seems like Anthropologie needs to split their bridal into a different store location entirely, or their employees need some serious training in basic customer service.
But the treatment we received there has stuck in my mind for months, and has also resulted in my father (who was very upset at the way he saw my mother treated) calling the store management to let them know they need some more staff training.
I guess all in all it really is them who missed out, as I ended up buying 2 different wedding dresses worth thousands of dollars at the very next store we went to after being so horribly treated there, and I will never shop the...

Iām so glad my husband added them to Google Maps so I can get this review done.
Anthropologie is the kind of shopping experience unlike the others. Thereās a magic about it.
I took videos and pics. This location also has a wedding salon that is beautifully appointed. There is nothing they didnāt think ofā¦.
The staff is super friendly and ready to help from picking out gifts, or simply to help find something special to wear.
I canāt wait until Christmas, itās my favorite time to visit the store.
